Today I was proven wrong(its not the first time nor will it be the last). Jim Geraghty posted of a source who ..tells me that the most recent internal poll of the Scott Brown campaign shows the Republican winning by... 11 percentage points. I'm getting the sense that the folks hearing this are almost a little incredulous, but it seems every demographic and key group is breaking to Brown in the past day or two. For weeks, Brown and everyone around him has said they will campaign and work as if they're 30 percentage points down. But it seems like the campaign has been one Coakley stumble after another, and you figure that would eventually start effecting the numbers. According to that measure, it's starting to break heavily in Brown's direction... but we'll have to see what the final few days bring.
Earlier today I received an email from a contact who works for a Political PR/Marketing firm in DC who said:

Great....so we elect a pro-abortionist....ends justify the means, right? excuse me while I go puke.
FWIW..my moderate Dem Sister-in-law in Worcester told me two weeks ago she was voting for Martha. Today, she told me she’s changed her mind and she will vote for Brown. Doesn’t like the dirty campaiging or the Kennedy machine coming in now.
Although I admire your tenacity on your single subject, your rationalization smacks a bit of mental illness.
Exactly Hildy. This race is critical in defeating the anti-Constitutional health care bill.
It’s a referendum on all things Obama. If and when Brown wins, it’ll be the shot in the arm the Republicans need to get out and work to take back this country. If we can do it in Massachusetts..well...we can do it anywhere.
This is chess, not checkers. Electing is a defeat to the abortion lobby by taking away their party’s super majority.
Plus, you have three candidates in that race, that is the reality, you can’t go back in a magic time machine and change that. Brown is by far the most pro-life of the bunch and his election will do more for the pro-life cause than the pro-partial birth abortion Coakley.
You aren’t going to get a Barry Goldwater in that State (yet). You have to think strategically each and every decision and what works most in your favor.
This race is critical in defeating the anti-Constitutional health care bill.”
I’m sure the next aborted baby will agree... there simply was no other way to defeat the bill.
Electing Brown is also a defeat to the abortion lobby by taking away their super-majority. So it is a bigger victory.
Some people never learned to play chess.
No wonder Obama is going to MA to campaign for Coakley, so he can stop the bleeding or at least slow it down.
Face it. If Brown wins this thing it’ll be like an atom bomb blowing up at the dinner table for the stinking demoKKKrats.
The US Senate doesn't have the authority to ban abortion, and actually, electing Scott Brown to the Senate will keep the healthcare bill from passing, which will prevent tax money from going to support abortions. Scott Brown isn't a pro abort, he is on the side of many pro-life policies such as supporting and promoting adoption as an alternative to abortion, as well as reducing the the number of abortions in America. He is for parental notification, and he is totally against partial birth abortion.
Ignorant and ill-informed comments like yours is what gives a bad name to Freepers and FR.
The way i see it Mr. Brown is pro life. He is stopping the killing of old people and stopping the killing of unborn babies by stopping this Obamination of a healthcare bill.
Now you can whine on about his pro choice stance but is it okay to have another prochoice candidate step in and not only be pro choice but advocate this bill that will not respect life on ANY level.
It seems these people that complain under these type circumstances are very short sighted. Bet you stayed home rather than hold your nose and vote for McCain.
Electing Brown will not cause one more baby to be aborted, however, it will cause a major blow to the abortion lobby by taking away their super-majority.
If the abortion lobby doesn’t have a super-majority, they don’t get abortions funded in the health-care bill, they don’t have a legislature friendly to partial-birth abortions, they can’t kill parental notification laws.
Think more strategically and less emotionally.
Do you have a better alternative for people there?
I agree.
Would you prefer that we elect an Ignorant Marxist Loud Mouth who has nary a problem with abortion to include the abortion of all abortions, Early Birth Abortions?
To stay on your topic, pick your poison.
Yea, it worked so well in New Jersey.
If the “ends” is to stop a healthcare bill that will facilitate public paid abortions and eugenics and the means is to vote in a prochoice pubbie, then yes the ends do justify the means in this particular case.
Yes, I’m waiting for a repeat, lol.
“Great....so we elect a pro-abortionist....ends justify the means, right? excuse me while I go puke.”
IS Coakley pro life??????? Oh wait.
BTW stopping obamacare will keep abortions from being publicly funded. Think about it.
