I haven’t written here in a year. I’ve been busy with life, I’m getting ready for retirement and want to cruise in a boat for a few years. So, I’ve spent time with my family, my wife and we’ve been working on our plans.
But recently I’ve been more and more upset at the lack of caring on the part of many, if not all of the the members of Congress. Both the House and the Senate.
The partisan politics of these two political bodies have come recently under fire by both sides and when this past summer “Tea Parties” were called for, and yelling and screaming at Town Hall meetings became the norm, Congress went on the defensive, hiding in their offices.
Now, the biggest, worst possible “Health Care” bill has been passed. 64% of Americans DO NOT WANT THIS.
What this means, quite simply is that a majority of American do not want the Government to take over the control of the health system in the United States. Yes, we all understand that medical expenses are high. Yes, we understand that sometimes insurance companies can, and do drop people for no reason, or disallow people with ‘preexisting conditions’ (Hello, insurance is to INSURE against something and it’s a BET).
Why on Earth do we want the Government to FORCE us to BET on something? Working at a government facility I can tell you they won’t even ALLOW you to go look and see what the latest lotto numbers were. Funny, the LOTTO is a government run system isn’t it? Why won’t the GOVERNMENT let me look up a lotto number and yet they want to FORCE me to purchase a “lotto ticket against being ill”????
But, I digress.
Among the chief issues here is the fact that I, as an individual simply want to be LEFT the HELL alone. I work, I pay taxes (MORE than I SHOULD have to). I care for my family. I help the neighbors when they need it. I donate to charities.
Why should Congress IGNORE me? I’m a voting citizen in this country (of course a lot of ILLEGAL aliens are also voters now too….but again, I digress).
It is TIME for Congress to come to the realization that they are NOT Royalty.
Congress members are NOT Kings, Queens, Princes or Princesses even though they perhaps believe they are.
They are not BETTER than me.
They are JUST LIKE ME. They put on their pants the same way I do, and they too, eat, sleep and excrete.
They WORK for ME. I do NOT work for them. I am not here to pay their bills, or to make sure that they have credit, or to be taxed into oblivion.
As of now, I REFUSE to let them continue in the direction they are headed.
I am calling for the removal of each and every member of Congress, both the House, and the Senate, by the legal means we have left.
They MUST learn a lesson. They are there only because we allow them. It is time to DISALLOW this current group of Congress people.
Fire them ALL.
In the next election - I urge you to VOTE against all of the current, sitting persons. Anyone who is running, and is new, regardless of their party affiliation is fair game to vote FOR.
Remove every sitting Congress person, HOUSE and SENATE - good or bad, right or left.
Send a message to Congress that they work for us, not the other way around.
I made two posts, one was a letter to Congress. The other was to the public. Both of those were written a few days ago on my own blog. I was reposting them.
If you dont like it, report it. If you aren’t going to report it and you’re going to sit on your ass while Congress makes you into a Subject of the Royal States of America while they make themselves High Lords and Ladies, that’s fine with me.
If you all can’t get the point that the LAST CHANCE to do something by firing these people legally is in your hands now, then it will be too late when the shots start getting fired.
Personally, I’d like to head that problem off before it starts.
If you all are too ignorant of what is truly going on around you, try visiting, oh, I dunno, say a PUB and listen to the talk. Or you know, a movie theater. Try just talking in line to people in the grocery and see just how pissed off Americas... a MAJORITY of Americans are right now.
I didn’t write that letter based on one incident. I’m not some spring chicken that just woke up. I’ve been around this site many years, and may years BEFORE I actually signed up I was a lurker here.
Don’t assume me to be some ignorant person. I’m not.
And your head is planted quite firmly up your ass. LOL
Lay off of the abuse button. You have no clean hands here and the whining to the mods is unbecoming.

I really LIKED your posts...and the idea behind of my reply was I think there should be MORE letters like this EVERYONE to Congress and that your message was very direct and exactly on target...however your reactive hostility and attack in “gunz-a-blazing” mode seems strange. Too much coffee?
