That is where you are wrong and are passing false witness. Shame on you.
Witnesses believe Jesus is the Son of God.
Mt 3:16-17....After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and, look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw descending like a dove God's spirit coming upon him. Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said : "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.
Why don’t you elaborate on the cultic beliefs
of Jehovah’s Witnesses more fully? Tell us what
else you believe of Jesus Christ.
Do you agree with this statement:
“JWs believe that Jesus Christ was a perfect man, and that He is a person distinct from God the Father. However, they also teach that before His earthly life, Jesus was a spirit creature, Michael the archangel, who was created by God and became the Messiah at His baptism. According to Jehovahs Witnesses, Jesus is a mighty one, although not almighty as Jehovah God is. According to John 1:1 in their Bible, The New World Translation, Christ is a god, but not the God. They teach that Jesus was and is and always will be beneath Jehovah and that Christ and God are not coequal.
If not, where do you disagree?
OK, let's run this by you real slow:
Jesus as man:
Christians believe that? (check)
You and I believe that? (check)
JWs believe that? (check)
(So no "false witness...shame on you" there, correct?)
Jesus as Michael the angel:
Christians believe that? (No, though many Christian theologians believe that in some of the Old Testament theophanies the "angel of the Lord" is the pre-incarnate Christ)
JWs believe that? (Yes)
Quote with source for this:
This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael...the Bible speaks of both Michael and his angels and Jesus and his angels. (Matthew 13:41) Since Gods Word nowhere indicates that there are two armies of faithful angels in heavenone headed by Michael and one headed by Jesusit is logical to conclude that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in his heavenly role.

Jesus as a god?
Christians believe that? (No -- not "a" god -- for that would make "2" gods -- but is THE God from eternity past...though they believe Jesus is NOT the Father -- distinct persons -- they believe Jesus shares the divine nature and is so intimate with the Father they are One in that shared nature)
JWs believe that? (Yes)
Quote: As already noted, Jesus is a god in the sense of being divine, but he is not the Father

So, if you ask JWs who the Supreme God is, they'll tell you Jehovah God.
But then if you ask them if they think Jesus is a god, they'll say, "Yes, but He is not Jehovah God."
Well, that means that if Jesus is not the supreme God, but is a god, that he's some sort of a "lesser" or "semi" god. (I expect an apology from you)
