I’ve had 3 in my family. They get “brownie points” for bringing in converts. It’s the earn your salvation plan. And it’s not Scriptural.

"Ive had 3 in my family." Perhaps it was just those 3 in your family. I have known witness's and have studied the Bible with them and I will say, from personal experience, they are very very wary of "converts".
You just don't "convert" like you can in the Catholic, Lutheran and other denominations.

You must have misunderstood them. Ephesians 2:8-10 makes it perfectly clear that we cannot earn salvation, it is a free gift of God.
However, as pointed out in James 2:18-24 "...one will say: 'You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from the works, and I shall show you my faith by my works.'"
Faith is SHOWN by the works, the works themselves get you nowhere. Every Jehovah's Witness I know believes this.
The Witnesses are encouraged to share their faith and conduct Bible studies, if that's what you mean by brownie points.
