So, here's a great ad being played in Nebraska.

Let's all call Senator Ben Nelson and ask that he filibuster this Health Reform Bill that he hasn't even been able to read:

Senator Ben Nelson

Same here, Russ. Depressing day. It's gonna be a depressing LIFE for a lot of Americans once this monstrosity passes and becomes law.

Any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care. The people are not bound by any unconstitutional act by Congress. People need to respond with civil disobedience.

Words fail me. I have been on FR for over 12 years but if I said what I’m feeling right now I would be banned for life....

Why? What Obama and the Democrats are doing is what communists normally do. Didn't people know this was going to happen when they voted Obama to office?

Didn't Rush, Hannity, Levin and other conservative commentators tell us every day about Obama and what he was going to do to the country if he won the election? And don't forget, exit polls in 2008 showed that 20% of self-identified conservatives voted for Obama and no doubt many of those voted for Democrats in the House and Senate races.

It is over because they have the votes in the House and the Senate to pass whatever they want. A Democrat is a Democrat and will do what is expected of him/her, and that includes Lieberman.

All of the Senate Republicans, including the RINOS, aren't voting for this, but their combined 40 votes won't do diddly squat to stop this monstrosity from becoming law.

The Rats don't care if they are re-elected next year, as that's not the point.  The point is to implement their leftist agenda, and they hold their beliefs as strongly as does a terrorist detonating himself in a middle of crowded market in the Mid East. Anyway, they are probably confident that ACORN will do their dirty work come election time.

People should realize that elections have consequences, and we should unite in getting these jerks out of power in 2010 and 2012, and beyond.

Why does my state not get this?

Because your senator didn't pretend to be pro-life in order to sell out. Not as smart, conniving, and evil as Benedict.

He was going to vote for this bill all along, he just had to put on the “dog and pony show” for the folks back home.

The blood is on his hands. He thinks he washes his hands of abortion but he knows taxpayers will be funding abortions. Even the people of Nebraska will be paying for abortions in other states that don’t opt-out.

I think it’s past time for a major revolt. Taxpayers need to start opting out. If necessary, we need to break this system and start over.

The folks inside the beltway are destroying this nation.

The conservatives ought to be raising the issue of the constitutionality of the bill, and when it’s determined to be unconstitutional, every single Senator and Representative that voted for it should be pressured to resign at the very least, and they should all be investigated for conspiracy in transgressing the Constitution.

Emails, phone calls, staff meetings - who knew what this bill was really all about, and how far does the rabbit hole go?
