Any scientists or engineers here that can flesh this out?

No engineer but on the face of it, it makes cold fusion sound like a done deal.

“the main stumbling blocks have been rigid scientific thinking concerning violation of conservation of energy laws” which like the Law of Gravity and other physical laws, cannot be repealed, no matter how much Obama wants to.

By chance, does the company happen to be seeking money from investors?

It is claimed to produce more energy than it consumes at a ratio of 3:1

Total BS.

It looks like a slickly packaged version of the perpetual motion machine, is all. Timing is suspicious...

Think I’ll put my money on entropy and the 2nd law...

I think I would also attribute this to a surfeit of Guinness coupled with a desire to upstage Bono...

I first ran into this company about three years ago, and thought they had a fascinating (but radical) concept for producing electrical energy.

I bookmarked them, and checked back from time to time (with a skeptical eye). I eventually wrote them off as yet another scam, so I’ll admit that I’m surprised and even a bit delighted to see that they’ve finally delivered, and now have their device ready for testing by outside labs.

I look forward to how it goes with the independent testing.

I’d love to be prooved wrong, but..... On the face of it the thing reads like BS.

If it truly delivers, they should have no need of outside funding, as all they need to do is sell electrical power to the power utility. They can buy 100KWH and send it back, getting paid for 300KWH of power, and so on.

[Orbo is based upon time variant magnetic interactions, i.e. magnetic interactions whose efficiency varies as a function of transaction timeframes.

It is this variation of energy exchanged as a function of transaction time frame that lies at the heart of Orbo technology, and its ability to contravene the principle of the conservation of energy. Why? Conservation of energy requires that the total energy exchanged using interactions are invariant in time. This principle of time invariance is enshrined in Noether’s Theorem.]

Damn Shazam! Why it was right in front of my eyes! Any child could see that time variant magnetic interactions are the key to perpetual motion! I coulda been rich!

Irish science? I'm sure it makes sense after a number of pints!

Don't worry, it's BS.
Many claims have been made of machines that generate more energy than they consume, none has ever panned out.
Some of them come with elaborate explanations, sometimes rather outlandish.
It goes against known laws of physics and most scientists consider it a waste of time.
I've heard that the patent office won't even look at such applications.

1. The burden of proof is on the inventor; Build a working model and demonstrate that it functions as advertised.
2. Allow independent verification, other teams must be able to build such machines. That's to make sure no cheating was going on.

It is claimed to produce more energy than it consumes at a ratio of 3:1, which has led to considerable skepticism from the scientific community.

That would be an understatement.

I was under the impression that the Irish have been researching alcohol-based energy generation for centuries.

Yes. It's a very sound and practical system. To explain it in layman's terms: The hyper cyclic energy drive magnets are differentially translocated during the Epsom Phase of magnetic flux saturation. Then as torque develops the uplift phase generation occurs and the inversion of resistance to persistence at a distance.....you're not understanding this are you? Another glass of the house's finest and I'll start over again. Leave the bottle on the table.
