The boy’s picture portrayed a crucified Jesus with Xs over his eyes to indicate that he had died on the cross.
I did not say it was wrong. I was just correcting the story. They had to make it a little more than it was. The AP version of this story has a photo of the drawing. It has a sign on the cross which says “Jake.” I think it was a ridiculous thing for the authorities to do, but the article should state the facts accurately. Apparently they thought the facts they made up were more provocative.
