Yeah right, Gold is going to tank cause Obami is just doing wonders for the US economy. "TD tosses cold water on gold party" "they expect forex investors to start pricing in a reversal of some of the "extreme stimulus measures" that have been in place to support the recovery."

Maybe he’ll pull an FDR and try to ban the private ownership of gold. After all it’s unfair to the poor and minorities that those rich republicans will be protected from the collapse of the dollar through gold ownership.../sarcasm

I don't see it. They're saying that the eight-year bull market will reverse based upon a U.S.-as-Japan analogy. A person who compared the U.S. to the U.S. (in the past) would be less sanguine about the ability of the Fed to rein in inflation. Not mentioned in the report is how the U.S is going to deal with the national debt otherwise. "Quantitiateive easing" is a fact.

Thanks for posting this article.

Well, I suppose if he puts the economy onto the rocks hard enough—and he’s sure giving it the ol’ college try—we might see gold fall. All the dollars in the world won’t mean much if people and institutions are too terrified to spend them.

There is no way that Zero or any other president could slow gold with the reckless policies he and the Federal Reserve have implemented. See link.
