I have yet to see anyone with the too-small-sweater/too-wide-belt-empire look. Then again, I’m not in an area that would be likely to follow her fashion sense. Has anyone in a liberal city seen any Michelle Obama fashion followers?
I live in the DC metro area and work inside the Beltway (Virginia side). I have found it surprising that there is no one adopting the Michelle Obama fashion style. I see nobody with her hairstyle nor anyone following her clothing style. I’m old enough to remember the fashion craze that followed Jackie Kennedy — women copying her hairstyle and clothing sense. There were millions of Jackie-wannabes. There are no Michelle-wannabes.
