The sad thing is that they don't notice the difference. The first time I saw the bikini pic, I was surprised that the girl didn't look anywhere near as cute as Sarah normally does ... for about two seconds before I realized it wasn't Sarah. I felt the same watching SNL the night they had Sarah. I heard she'd be on, turned it on, and felt a moment of disappointment at how plain she looked ... again for about two seconds before I realized it was just Tina Fey.
I don't support Sarah Palin just because she's cute. I haven't even firmly decided to support her in 2012. What I have decided is that she could be a great candidate based on her record and her political positions. I want her to win the nomination on merit and not because it's "her turn", but I'd be happy to support another good campaigner who also holds pro-Constitution, pro-gun (I repeat myself), pro-America positions.
