Hearing a lot lately about how the Catholic Church is supporting liberal causes. Are these real or just another attack on the Catholics?

The Headline is in complete error. It is the United Church of Christ that is/ was making this effort.
The Catholics (USCCB) have a seperate statement that they are making, the Vidio makes it very clear.

"Lou Dobbs talks to Jeffrey Lord from the American Spectator, and why he is against an effort by the Catholic Church to bring down talk radio and hosts like Rush Limbaugh. Must see!!!!" Just did read of Dobb's leaving the Confused Crazy Network. Even read a few *comments* by the last remaining nut-balls the NYSlimes has celebrating Lou's departure.
But what's this about the Catholic Church?
What're they allegedly trying to do?
"Take down" Talk Radio????
Wagglebee my friend, what's going on here?

Okay, here's the
link that shows the slant of this thread is totally bogus.
Relevant excerpt:
"In fact, what the USCCB had agreed to, says Archbishop Chaput, was specifically outlined in a letter to the Federal Communications Commission on July 29, 2009, in reference to a "Petition for Inquiry into Hate Speech in Media." The letter, obtained by the Spectator and written at the request of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, cited no one in talk radio or on Fox News, nor did it mention either talk radio or Fox News in general. Nor did it ever say the USCCB was signing on to the So We Might See Petition, the impression that was given by the e-mail from the United Church of Christ to its own members. Instead, the USCCB said it supported "a broad public forum in which to raise and debate (hate speech and other issues) in a respectful manner."" The USCCB is the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops

WHO is saying that the Catholic Church is trying to “bring down” talk radio hosts? This sounds like a really idiotic accusation...
(There are many who call themselves “Catholic” but who do not practice their faith. The Catholic Church is neither liberal nor conservative. It is a spiritual entity.)

It is the liberals in Church, who support Obama that give the rest of us faithful Catholics a bad name. I wish they would just leave the Church.

I'm currently visiting at a Dominican priory. My computer had issues and the prior is a former student of geekery, so we worked on it while we listened to Rush.
To say the Catholic Church is trying to shut down Rush is a ccase of misplaced concreteness. Maybe some Catholics, clergy and lay, are trying to shut him down.
