I heard Rep. Baft Stupak on Fred Thompson's show tell Fred's guest host, Jed Babbin, that they received an email saying the vote might be Dec. 22 or 23, so let's get busy and call these senators, as well as our own senator.

I've asked how he can be so concerned with our troops, but be in favor of a bill which further restricts our freedoms? Isn't our freedom what they serve and give their lives for? (no reply to date)

Good question. If you live in his state, write a short letter to the editor explaining Harry “Carey” care, and maybe you’ll get other folks to call Testor also.

He'll be in town tomorrow for an open meeting on his Forest bill. I'll be there, but he hasn't had a good record of straying from his subject or hanging around afterwards.

You can only do your best. If cameras are there, it might be good to bring a sign, if possible, and a friend. I know you know this, but stay cool. Sometimes there are antagonizers there to make our side look bad.
