This Administration just doesn't get it, refusing to call the Fort Hood attack an act of terrorism. We are at war, whether they choose to ignore it or not. But on this topic, they remain the equivalent of the flat-Earthers.
This should come as no surprise, of course, from the crew that declared an end to the Global War on Terror immediately upon assuming power, but at that time hope remained that it was just political posturing. We now have more than enough evidence to conclude that the Obama administration remains one of the few groups in America that do not realize that militant Islam continues to wage war against us.
Just one year after electing Obama president, America is again attacked on its own soil by Islamic terror. This after President Bush's administration kept the country safe from attack for 7 years following 9/11. And Obama's mouthpiece, Robert Gibbs, remains as clueless as the President.
Gibbs was also asked aboard Air Force One whether the public should have "qualms" about Muslims serving in the military. "Obviously there are people . . . of all faiths and all ethnicities serving with distinction and valor in our Armed Services today," he said. "The investigation is ongoing to figure out what would motivate an individual to carry out the type of act that this major carried out..."

Purposefully so... it’s in his political DNA to uphold every tenant of poltical correctness. He can’t think and do otherwise.
