According to Bloomberg.com the U.S. has committed $11.6 trillion to bailouts, stimulus packages, and other government programs that have mostly benefited the rich and politically connected. No one really knows for sure how much of that money has been wasted, lost, or stolen.
Imagine what positive things could be done if that money were put in a charitable foundation where two laws apply: 1. the principal can never be touched 2. The foundation must use 5% of its earnings annually on philanthropic activities. Any earnings above the 5% can be used for administrative cost and/or to build the principal.
Some needs could be completely eradicated in 10 years.

Well, for example, one of every 15 households in the US could own their own McDonald’s franchise.
It could wipe out all public debt with a lot to spare.
If other countries went on sale based on their GDP, we could by about 1/6th of the planet.
All are traitors.
Obama/Dems will keep spending until our backs are broken.
Then “we” will capitulate to the United Nations and World Court so that the USA will have its wealth distributed to Africa, Europe, China, etc.
Think I am kidding? Its already in the works. The Dems are moving fast to destroy us before Republicans can stop the damage.
Unfortunately, it will be too late if the healthcare and climate bills pass.

Yep, Bush's fault.. even if the total spending on the wars are just a tiny fraction of this, it is still all him..

Yep, Bush’s fault, Bush’s fault, Bush’s fault.. easy to pin it on one man even though it is a symptom of an entire system that is FUBAR. Naa.. let’s just blame it all on Bush... even easier to blame it on those icky wars.. (of course, they were wars Bush chose to put us in to enrich his oil buddies.. is that how the line goes? )
