IF Sarah cannot handle an Oprah interview she might as well hang it up. She needs the experience in front of the media. I hope she is preparing for this. Go Sarah. Give ‘em hell.

Think about this: did she finish her office term? No matter the reason, she did quit. One poster said she retired. LOL yeah right. I keep catching crap for saying she “quit”. What other name is there? No emergency , no death in the family, just some heat in the kitchen which I believe she could have handled (but she didn’t)

I AM sure of that. That you are making excuses for Palin to screw up again... Well, you will see. Stupid is not way to go through life.

Quitting is quitting. That was not a “brilliant” move as some conservatives tried to spin it, it was a move for money. I agree with you.

Plain and simple, she wanted to hit the speaking tour to make money and get her name in a more favorable light in the lower 48. The money can pay for mounting legal fees and reduce potential future litigation from decisions.

If someone can’t objectively look at the negatives of the candidate they support, then they’re closed minded or sheep (take your pick). Kind of like Ron Paul for me. He’s a great congressman, but he does have his faults and we differ in ideology in a few areas. One thing I have to repeat about Palin though where she has Ron Paul hands down... she’s hot.

Keep a civil tongue you jerk.

Where did I trash you personally?
Saying "fricking" is pretty much par for the course here. I didn't attack you personally

Think about this: did she finish her office term?

No, she didn't, thanks to leftist bloggers and other sundry operatives who abused the state's ethics law that preventing her from finishing her term.

No matter the reason, she did quit.

OK, she quit.
When was the last time you saw a politician quit rather than holding on for dear life on the gov't teat while their office circled the drain.
Didn't think so.
So apparently you don't find it honorable that someone put the people's needs ahead of whatever political ambitions or questionable selfish needs or politics one faced.
I know you're not a Romney fan.
But Romney basically served a half-term before launching his presidential run.
All while he was drawing a salary and still involved in state affairs.
How sad, how sad you don't see the blatant double-standards and hypocrisy here.

I keep catching crap for saying she “quit”. What other name is there? No emergency , no death in the family, just some heat in the kitchen which I believe she could have handled (but she didn’t)

Buddy, this wasn't no ordinary heat.
She was marked for political death the moment she returned to Juneau after the election.
The ethics law as written provided no recourse for those who used it for political ends.
What was she supposed to do? Stand there and fight them, while the state's needs take a back seat and then her enemies in 2012 will laugh and say her term was "scandal-plagued?"

I don't have to make excuses.
Anyone outside of Stevie Wonder's vision can see that Palin's book was so certified a best-seller that it even brought the Queen of Daytime to her knees groveling for Palin to appear on her show.

Both Palin and Alaska have pretty wide libertarian streaks, so maybe you could keep an open mind about what she has to offer. Neither those who are blind to her weaknesses nor those who are blind to her strengths have a very good perspective.

Yeah - never mind that $500,000 debt from legal fees from frivolous lawsuits burning a hole in the family's pocket.
If she truly wanted the money, why didn't she quit after being chosen as McCain's VP or immediately after the election? She was receiving tons of offers from the media and entertainment industry.

Plain and simple, she wanted to hit the speaking tour to make money and get her name in a more favorable light in the lower 48.

Good, more power to her.
The Palin's arent' wealthy you know. If I can turn around and use my newfound fame to attack my enemies and get millions for it, I'd do it too.

If someone can’t objectively look at the negatives of the candidate they support

Many of Governor Palin's supporters will automatically tell you that Palin has some flaws. I am skeptical of her illegal immigration views, limiting the size of government, and a return to a traditional foreign policy.
However, we see in Palin that she's virtually the only prominent Republican willing to go toe-to-toe with Obama and the Dems and see the MSM and the Left's hatred of her, so hence our endearing support to her.

Yeah, when Zero was a Senator.
She didn't have him on during his presidential campaign.
Anyway, Oprah is still a powerful, influential person with an audience just ripe for the picking. Why would Palin be petty and decline a visit to her show?

She did have zero on her show. She made a huge public scene of refusing to have Palin on the show. She is an influential person who is totally in Obama’s camp and has made that very clear. She hurt her own ratings by doing what she did during the Presidental election - that is how much she is in the tank for her Black brother. She calls him “The One” and makes him out to be a Messiah.

Are all Palin brains pickled here? Have people forgotten how the left operates? Remember Curic?

She did have zero on her show.

What part of "Senator" do you not understand?
Way before Palin became a household name. She also had both Bush and Gore on during the 2000 race.
She didn't have Zero on during the presidential race.

She made a huge public scene of refusing to have Palin on the show.

No she didn't, that has been completely debunked.
She simply didn't invite Palin on the show or didn't communicate with her during the campaign.

She is an influential person who is totally in Obama’s camp and has made that very clear.

Maybe so, but it's irrelevant to her having Palin on the show now. As a talk show host, Oprah is still fairly objective.

She hurt her own ratings by doing what she did during the Presidental election - that is how much she is in the tank for her Black brother. She calls him “The One” and makes him out to be a Messiah.

Exactly, her ratings stunk and she decided to have Palin on the show. Palin needs to reintroduce herself and reach a larger target audience. Do you not understand how politics is played? How are you going to win if your message is limited to your base over one news network and a social networking site?

Are all Palin brains pickled here? Have people forgotten how the left operates? Remember Curic?

Have you forgotten that Schmidt and the other McCain rejects aren't in charge of her anymore? That she's her own person and have learned tremendously from her experience with the MSM? If anything, it has made her much stronger.

Tell yourself what you want. This is an unnecssary risk - like going on the show with Curic and it is stoooopid.

The issue isn’t making money, the issue was quitting an elected position in search of the almighty dollar. Ok, so maybe it won’t be almighty for long, but you catch my drift.
