Quitting is quitting. That was not a “brilliant” move as some conservatives tried to spin it, it was a move for money. I agree with you.

Plain and simple, she wanted to hit the speaking tour to make money and get her name in a more favorable light in the lower 48. The money can pay for mounting legal fees and reduce potential future litigation from decisions.

If someone can’t objectively look at the negatives of the candidate they support, then they’re closed minded or sheep (take your pick). Kind of like Ron Paul for me. He’s a great congressman, but he does have his faults and we differ in ideology in a few areas. One thing I have to repeat about Palin though where she has Ron Paul hands down... she’s hot.

Both Palin and Alaska have pretty wide libertarian streaks, so maybe you could keep an open mind about what she has to offer. Neither those who are blind to her weaknesses nor those who are blind to her strengths have a very good perspective.

Yeah - never mind that $500,000 debt from legal fees from frivolous lawsuits burning a hole in the family's pocket.
If she truly wanted the money, why didn't she quit after being chosen as McCain's VP or immediately after the election? She was receiving tons of offers from the media and entertainment industry.

Good, more power to her.
The Palin's arent' wealthy you know. If I can turn around and use my newfound fame to attack my enemies and get millions for it, I'd do it too.

Many of Governor Palin's supporters will automatically tell you that Palin has some flaws. I am skeptical of her illegal immigration views, limiting the size of government, and a return to a traditional foreign policy.
However, we see in Palin that she's virtually the only prominent Republican willing to go toe-to-toe with Obama and the Dems and see the MSM and the Left's hatred of her, so hence our endearing support to her.
