goodell is nothing more than a little snot nosed kid.

I am like Rush, an NFL junkie, but the NFL is heading for big trouple in next two years eliminating salary cap and doing a total revamp of free agency. to bad they don’t see the glaring weaknes .. paying 50 million to a kid out of college that can’t perform at the NFL level.

How many heisman winners have succeded?

its a vivious rut .. the loser teams get the first picks in the draft. Sounds great. Downside, they expend lots and lots of capital on an unproven players that are a bust, year afer year. Resouces that could have been spent on proven free agency. Bungles are a prime example. Bottom feeders that stay at the bottom.

Bungle’s you ask?

Yeah I know this years record .. but 4 games in one season out of 19 is not great track record .. and there are still 11 games to go. Bottom feeders tend to stay on the bottom ther than an anomaly or two.

They’re trying not to eliminate the salary cap, but that revolves around getting a CBA ratified, the last one never got the actual final approval. And one of the things they’re trying to get is rookie salaries pre-set by draft position like the NBA (probably the only thing the NBA does right). We’ll see how it goes.

Remember loser teams can trade down. That’s what the ones that turn it around tend to do, you take a high draft pick and turn it into 3 or 4 not so high picks.
