Screw the NFL. I am sick and tired of em anyways. How lame to be a fan of a bunch of overpaid thugs running around mouthing off.

Is the NFL going to censor the political views of all its owners?

The other team owners are probably afraid that the dazzling urbanites will go out on strike.

Yeah, somehow I don’t think the NFL, which mandated that coaches and players wear pink, will be sympathetic to Rush.

The only way these Nazi’s will understand is if every football fan stops watching. For far too long the ‘race’ card has been played in the NFL

The trouble with these opinions is that they are based on lies told about Limbaugh and repeated by so called educated presstitutes in recent days.

It amazes me that smart people, or supposedly smart people are so damned stupid.

The no vote is based on “divisive comments” ... Rush made it plain today that he was going to give the “journalists” who published and republished that fictitious “slavery” quote a chance to retract and apologize ... even if they do they may not be immune from a lawsuit if he is not approved due to their lies.

Hmm...would those be the same “Colts” whose owner snuck them out of Baltimore in the middle of the night?

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay vowed to vote against him and commissioner Roger Goodell said the conservative commentator’s “divisive” comments would not be tolerated from any NFL insider.

As a Colts fan I’m extremely embarrassed that Mr. Irsay has no clue what he’s talking about.

I was hoping he’d buy a radio station(s). The NFL isn’t worth the hassle.

Well, looks like I will have to find a new sport to follow. This is just crap. I know there are freepers who know Goodall, and have said he's a stand up kinda guy, but he has proven with actions he isn't.

As the Herd Espn guy said today, actions speak louder than words. And when you have second chances given to black NFL players who torture animals, beat women, brandish weapons and leave a man permanently paralyzed yet go after a man who's only crime was words, there is something seriously wrong.

Yeah, there is. A league that has given second chances to criminal men who get no scorn from even the loudest black activists won't even give one chance to a man who's crime is words.

Funny thing is, I don't remember all these high horse sports writers and public figures objecting to the NY Knicks hiring Isiah Thomas, who said the EXACT thing about Larry Bird that they accuse Rush of saying about Donovan McNabb.

"If Larry Bird were black, he'd be just another good player."

The other difference is that Rush was right about McNabb, while Thomas was idiotic about Bird.

Perhaps Roger Goodell should come out and say No White Guys should apply.

Declare there is not enough BLACK OWNERS and The St. Louis Ram the NFL's Affirmative Action team.

“the conservative commentator’s ‘divisive’ comments would not be tolerated from any NFL insider.”

Oh, we’re back to that “divisive” thing. Conservatives are always divisive, when they’re not incendiary or controversial. Clinton was divisive for a little bit, too, back when Bush put himself forward as a uniter.

Lefties and milquetoast moderates can’t get away with calling him racist or implying he might set off another Oklahoma City bombing. So they fall back on the fact that not everyone agrees with what he says. Which is sorta like saying Obama’s unfit for office because the public is split in its opinion of him. It’s BS smokescreen nonsense. If Rush didn’t fit into polite society, if his brand of infotainment were beyond the line, they wouldn’t call him divisive. They’d say he’s a pottymouth, or whatever. Which they do say, but not so often, since even elderly fuddy-duddies can enjoy the program. And compared to the rest of popular culture, he’s not so vulgar (he is vulgar, but what isn’t these days).
