The Nevada Secretary of State was on television all weekend discussing his office's prosecution of ACORN. The Secretary of State, Ross Miller, is himself a Democrat. That's important, obviously, because ACORN's first reaction to most investigations is to say they are political. Given Miller's party affiliation that is harder to do. Much more important that that, Miller's office isn't going after some of the help. Instead, they are going after ACORN itself.

I saw Ross Miller on television this past weekend and he was pretty impressive. He’s one of the few Democrats willing to put aside partisan politics and do the job he was elected to do. I hope he continues to do his job.
I saw him as well. He did seem impressive and he appears to have a solid case. It’s much easier to look impressive when you have a strong case.

Indeed, now if only we could get some more like him, in addition to Republicans who will do the same, and Independents, and Third-party...
If it goes to a jury trial, there will be a call out to the members of the first O.J. trial to see if they are available.
Nevada state law enforcement is very shrewd in prosecuting cases of organized crime especially when there’s complex finance manipulation. They’ve seen it all long long ago.
