The FBI has cut off all contact with CAIR,the Council on American-Islamic Relations citing the group's ties with terrorist organizations particularly Hamas. But all the FBI's evidence wasn't enough for Congressman Keith Ellison, D-Minn. Ellison, the first Muslim congressman, ignored pleas from moderate Muslim Groups to show his support for the terrorist supporting CAIR last month.
"It makes my work 10 times harder when these groups are legitimized by a congressman," said Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the Phoenix-based American Islamic Forum for Democracy.
Jasser and others say CAIR was labeled as a front group for Hamas by an FBI agent during last year's trial and conviction of five former organizers of the Holy Land Foundation, who were found guilty of funneling $12 million to Hamas.
So when Jasser went to Congress to speak at a Capitol Hill Forum he invited Congressman Ellison, the Muslim Congressman ended up delivered a tirade at Jasser implying that he was a self-hating Muslim and he Ellison went on defended Islamists in the US:

You may remember, back in November of 2006, that Elllison was a featured speaker at a closed-door meeting of radical Muslims in the Twin Cities. Also in attendance that day were the soon-to-be famous “Flyin’ Imams”, who that evening, made news at MSP on their way home to Phoenix.....

CAIR - 4 letter word for crap! This “Congressman” needs to be sent back to the world of uncongressmen and let this district elect someone who represents more U.S. interests.
"This district" is mostly Minneapolis, whose voters' hate-America-first antipathies are consonant with Ellison's.
Was Dr. Jasser the same person who offered to pay the legal bills of the passengers being sued because they complained about the “flying imams”?
