There is no denying the numbers and the volume of sales surrounding Glenn Beck's newest release, Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government has produced results beyond expectations. After the stunning success of Beck's Common Sense and increased television and radio ratings, publishers had high expectations for his newest endeavour. Three weeks before its release, pre-orders were already outpacing nearly every other political book, including the unexpected flop, 50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America. Beck's newest book has proven to not only to exceed expectations, but is sure to enrage his detractors.

He ought to be thanking the crazed msm. The more they rant against him the more popular he becomes.
They haven’t figured it out yet. All the whining just sends more people to check him out and the more they appreciate his courage.
I wonder if the Pravda Editors of Time Magazine allowed any mention of Beck’s book sales in the Official Hate Beck Issue out on the newsstands now. I’ll never know unless someone tells me. I don’t pick up dog poop with my bare hands and I don’t read Time Magazine.
Bought my copy yesterday at Barnes & Noble. I usually only buy Coulter books there because the looks I get from the libs that work there are just awesome!
When I handed the guy this book, he actually sneered and muttered “Beck” in a quiet version of Kirk’s “Khaaaan” in “The Wrath Khan”.
So, congrats to Glenn Beck. The smarmy liberals at the Mandarin Barnes & Noble hate you more than Ann Coulter.
That has to drive the Times even more insane.
Think about it Times: Conservative books sell. Maybe you start moving toward the center in order to sell some papers.

For ‘fun’, take someone else to the store with you, fill up a basket or two of books, set yours down on the counter and when the ‘rude one’ snickers, look him straight in the eye and loudly proclaim “You have a problem with my purchase”. Naturally his pimples will start to pop and then (loudly) “let me speak to the manager”..when mgr on way just state (loudly) “Hell with it, I will get it on line”, turn to your friend(s) with basket(s) of books and say “Lets get out of here, they don’t want OUR business”. Then you all exit the store.
They have, they just don't put economics ahead of propaganda.
Their motto is, "Stay stupid and be happy".
I’ve gotta say that the front cover picture makes him look kind of like Rahm Emanuel.
They still do not get, that with every one of these negative attempts to end his career, they increase his following and draw more interest into who or what he is. It's like Rush Limbaugh. The more they try to ruin him, the larger his audience gets and the more people who were just complacent moderates, come to our side.
I didn’t care for Glenn’s last book, didn’t finish it. But THIS one is different and it is TERRIFIC. Not only does it have a great “feel” as a book (great formatting inside, colors, tidbits ... just plain interesting) ... the facts and conclusions are concrete. I’m about half way through it and am finding you have to read it slowly, just as you did Liberty and Tyranny ... there’s a lot of information on each page. I give this one a big thumbs up and will be putting it in a place of honor right beside my autographed copy of Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny.
That’s not fun. That’s what liberals do. And they are incapable of genuine laughter. I’d hate to go through life as one of them.
I enjoy the sneers and snickers from the “open-minded enlightened” people when I plop something on the counter that they disagree with. I also buy most of my Christian books at that store for the same reason.
Not complaining, just jealous.
Just checked Amazon, Beck is at #2, behind Brown and ahead of the late Swimmer’s memoir. Meanwhile, the 50 Ways to Help Obama is at 49,934 so they have some bragging rights -it’s in the top 50!(thousand)
I hate the front cover. But it’s typical Beck. The more the Libs rant, the better it is. Have you ever mentionned Rush to a hard core Lib? They get red in the face and steam comes out of the top of their heads. Then they go off with a hate speech that would rival one given toward all terrorist dictators together.
Same response with Beck now..only as Glenn would say, “Blood shoots out of their eyeballs.”
My Lib “friends”(now mostly former)take great pleasure in saying that they have never heard of Glenn Beck! Ha
In Colorado where I live, I made the bookstore order a bumper sticker with mountains in the background and the words, “How’s that Obama think workin’ out for ya?” The Lib checkout girl sighed and gave me that “I voted for BO and have no idea why” look. I said(to the wide eyed drone):”Make that order for 20. I have a ton of friends here in town who would like one too”. End of story.

Was just thinking of a way to ‘get their attention’.
If they have to put enough stuff back and start losing business, some minds full of mush may come around, or at least begin to realize ‘no customers, no job’....
