The Washington Post reports today that Greg Craig has been replaced as the point man on Guantanamo and will likely leave the White House. The story places the blame for crafting the Guantanamo strategy for a date certain shutdown, of convincing The One of its wisdom and the failure to follow through, squarely on Craig’s shoulders. It hinted that Obama may now not be able to meet his January 22 deadline.

Exactly. The ‘firing’ is nothing but window dressing. It’s all part of the game and Craig fully understands the game. His influence will not be diminished.

Greg Craig might have been a “servant” but it seemed he was the brains behind that flurry of “executive orders” obama signed without reading in his first day, first week and first several months of office. I think his hand was over obama’s as the pen was held for the signing

I remember that stunningly stupid moment. I agree, Craig may be gone from view, but he's certainly not going away.
The man is a dunce. On the other hand he is a real suck-em-up who charms clients and dictators so he has ended up EXTREMELY WEALTHY.
If the Leftwingtards were serious about expropriating the wealth of the richest people in America, Greg would be in the first tier for flensing.
