Any pro-life conservative who would consider voting for Obama-Biden over McCain-Palin, is cracked.
I voted or McCain and would never actually vote FOR a liberal democrat. No Anti-RINO freepers that I know of would either they may have voted third party or not voted.
But that doesn’t mean that in the long term things might work out better that the RINO lost. The conservative movement would be stymied from reasserting itself if McCain was the liberal President they had to oppose because of McCain’s technically being a Republican. Conservatives were largely asleep on the job during the Bush years. We’d have no chance to make gains in 2010 or elect a conservative in 2012 if McCain were currently President.
On the flip side it’s also possible Obama will recover his popularity, win again and screw the country so bad that a marginal improvement like McCain will look golden.
I was afraid and voted for McCain. The next few years will show who cast the smarter vote, you and me or the freepers who didn’t endorse McCain.
