Hannity may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer. He repeats too much, he says “you know” too often. But, he is a voice for our side and a patriot. His Freedom Concerts are a noble cause for our troops. He needs to do away with the great, great panel, it sucks. Still, I’m glad I don’t have to listen to and look at that freak, Alan Colmes. Since we’re playing program director for Fox, I think O’Reilly should go and Beck take Hannity’s slot, Hannity O’Reilly’s spot.

"But he (Hannity) is a voice for our side and a Patriot."

Amen, brother. He gives me worms, but remember, he brings in a lot of twitter-ish young ladies and housewives......and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of concert-going skulls full of mush.

Every one of our stable of conservative talk show hosts on radio and TV brings in his or her own following. En masse, the sum is considerable.....so let's support them all.

Now, as for O'Reilly, he brings in the liberals, the fence-sitters and the masochists. No loss at all to our cause if he retires gracefully.

He can go back to writing and incessantly shilling his book "A Bold Fresh Piece of Hannity.....oops.....Humanity".

“Has OReilly ever not been number 1 in the ratings? As long as I’ve been reading the cable ratings, I’ve never seen him lower than first. If people want to move him out, they are going to have to do something about him being the most watched show on Fox. “

I don’t know.

Is O’Reilly rated number one

or

the FOX NETWORK as a whole rated number one?

One thing is for sure, Glen Beck is eating his lunch.

If Beck has not overtaken O’Reilly, he will be shortly.

” I swear to God that it’s that stupid Great American Panel segment that will destroy Hannity. It is usually unwatchable “

Absolutely.
I see this all the time in business.
They tinker with a successful model and instead of improving it, they ruin it.
As they have done with Hannity’s show.
O’Reilly’s show is now more appropriate for MSNBC .
Even despite the two clunkers, FOX still rules.

Here’s what they should do:

Get rid of Shep completely, or move him to 5pm.

Move Greta to 7pm, move Hannity to 10pm and give Glenn 9pm slot.

That’s if they were smart.

Why won’t Sean credit Glenn with anything? I don’t get that. Rush and Glenn seem to get along. Does Sean feel threatened for the role of the next generation of talk radio????? I like Sean; but, his failure to even mention Glenn’s name in conjunction with the Acorn story is a turn off.

That's why we call him "Yawn Vanity".

I also found that Laura’s voice doesn’t carry well when she has two other people in at the same time. Her voice gets muddled in with the others, especially when the other two are going after each other. I think radio is her medium, and she should stick to it. The occasional TV spot is fine, but not as her major gig.

Oreilly is the top rated show overall, and on FOX. He always is. It makes me laugh when people say they should move him out of that slot, or get rid of him. Ailes didn’t get where he is by being THAT stupid. BOR is numero uno. He’s not going anywhere, and he has a few years of track record to prove it. Beck, for all Ailes knows, could be a flash in the pan. And anyway, to have the top dog at 8PM AND then to also get the numbers he’s getting out of Beck’s spot? I doubt he’s going to move anything. If it ain’t broke...

And they are using BOR to promote Beck. The thing BOR has going for him are the best ratings in cable news, and a long track record of producing those numbers. Beck, for all we know, could be a flash in the pan. Plus, if you look at it like a baseball lineup. BOR is your number 3 hitter. Your best hitter. Beck's time slot makes him like a number 6 or 7 hitter. To get those kind of numbers out of a 7 hitter, makes you want to keep him there. To move him into another spot diminishes his value to the team, where his numbers would be closer to the average.

If there were to be a move, he'd go after BOR. They'd either bump Hannity to 10, or bump Greta and put Beck on at 10. I think for now Hannity is safe, but he's the guy that I think needs to watch out. Not BOR.

I like Beck as well, but, think his novelty will also wear thin in time.

From a programming standpoint, that's definitely the risk. People who say BOR should be moved are out of their minds. Well, they just aren't thinking in terms of RATINGS, which is the bottom line scorecard. Nothing else matters. BOR has a long track record as number 1. He's not going to be moved. In fact, they use him to pimp Beck's show.

Beck is all gravy for FOX, because you don't expect those numbers out of his time slot. I think they'll leave him right there. It ain't broke, don't fix it. If he keeps up these kind of numbers for a year or two, maybe Hannity might need to start worrying. But Hannity has consistently good numbers too. I like Greta's show. I actually like her. But she might not survive if they juggle the lineup at some point. It's all moot to me now, since I cancelled my TV service.

OMG did anyone hear Bob Beckel on the hideous great great great panel this week when asked about ACORN said something about david vitter like “he paid a prostitute, he needs to shut his mouth.” and NO ONE CHALLENGED BECKEL. not one person including sean. For Gods sake BECKEL paid the dang prostitute with a personal check and made an ass out of himself in his own personal imbroglio and he dares say that? i had to call to tell my husband who was out of town, i was sputtering at home watching it!

Sean’s failure to mention anything about the homosexual agenda has basically written him off my list. That and his constant kiss-up to the enemy.

I have what could be a very dumb question, but I’m curious becuase I have no idea how the ratings system works.

When you DVR something, does it count towards actual ratings?

Since Glenn’s show is on during rush hour, I record it and I would assume lots of others do also.

The story goes that she asked for more $$$ then they would pay. I miss her on occasion.

NO ONE on television is going to criticize the gay agenda. They have trouble attacking pedophiles.

Unless they belong to the Catholic Church, but I agree, NO ONE takes on the homos.
