and notice suddenly Hannity has interest in the Czar’s and is doing a special on Friday...
Why is everyone so down on O’Reilly. God, Hannity - like someone said, is unwatchable. His show has no pizzaz in it - he uses the same vocabulary over and over again and his lineups are b-o-r-i-n-g. If they kept Hannity and booted O’Reilly I would turn Fox on for Glenn and then - goodnight
YES! I want to scream at the TV when he does his great great great great schtick - he seems to think it’s sooo cute.
This is the really amazing news. 5PM is a graveyard. Beck is getting prime-time ratings in this time slot. He is actually double the ratings of all three competing news networks combined.
Good points as to BOR’s likely situation.
He is rather tired but his egocentrism is even more tiring.
Also true that he has bumped Beck up but that seems more like Fox Corporation marketing.
I LIKED the early BOR, he who was a solid interviewer, fair and balanced, with nary a self aggrandizing notion.
But that is a fast fading memory ...
yes, yes, it’s very obvious and very funny. Honestly, childish. Remember those stupid weekend specials he tried to develop with aparitions, haunted houses, etc? Hannity knows he is slipping and he’s tried everything - but that STUPID great great great panel - even the football - everynight the football. It doesn’t even fit into the show. And the people he puts on that panel - my GOD! It’s like he scoured the streets of NYC sometimes. I admit he has SOME good guests, but to sit them next to some dunderhead is an insult really - to have a political debate.
Only ESPN and USA beating Fox News in primetime.
What the hell is on USA network? And how does it fare so well? I’m honestly surprised they haven’t gone under. FX and TNT did the TV drama thing much better.
How old is O’Reilly now? I thought I heard him say he’s in his 70’s once, but wasn’t sure I heard him right. Maybe it’s his age showing. I feel certain he’s tired. I agree, the old Bill was great. But I absolutely noticed an almost immediate change after the woman scandal. After that incident he would immediately stop any guest who made a racial remark that could be the least bit misinterpreted. I think that took the fun out of the show for him. So he knows he’s like kind of a worn out guy now and maybe he’s just trying to convince himself he’s great still. Whatta think?
House, Monk, Psyche, In Plain Sight...
Sean is the unchallenged (and unchallengeable) master of the badly telegraphed rhetorical question. "Karl, when Jeremiah Wright calls it the US of KKKA, when he says America's chickens have come to roost -- would you have sat in this man's church for twenty years while he made such vile, despicable, low-down remarks about poultry?"
Karl Rove, struggling to find an actual question in there somewhere: "Ummm. No. No Sean I would not."
I’d love to see Meghan Kelly take over BOR’s spot — she can slay ‘em.
Hahaha! Yes, this is so great....my son and I are always talking about Shep - and what the heck is he doing on there. I thought maybe his family bought him the slot on Fox. I really don’t get it. Actually it IS quite amazing that their ratings are so far up there when you consider the raking over the coals we’re giving these guys tonight.
Huh. I have never watched House, although people say good things about it. Same for Monk. Never heard of the others.
Honestly, I haven’t watched a lot of TV drama shows since The Shield and The Sopranos.
The Duggars’ show is interesting. Michelle is rather attractive, especially for someone on kid number 19.
yea for megan! agree
I would much rather see good discussion than put up with all the liberals he insists on bringing on to argue with to try and show how smart he is... I agree about that danged football... dumb...
USA has Law and Order and NCIS reruns, shows that I never watch but someone must.
thank you for clarifying the big question of how Shep got there. He must have signed a long-term contract. I agree-Hannity is vocabularily challenged. I don’t understand why the producer doesn’t tell him about it. You know, Hannity could just put a robot in his chair at 9 pm with a pre-recorded show - the same show everynight.,,,because actually that’s what it is - sameo sameo
yes, agreed! why NOT a good debate with someone? Oh, no - now that I think of it Hannity couldn’t handle it. I can see it now - “besmershed”, “let not your heart be troubled”, etc., etc. and then throw the football toward the camera - the other individual wouldn’t be ABLE to debate with Hannity. Did you see Willie Brown duck a few weeks ago when Sean threw the football? His vocabulary is so limited.
Hannity is no intellectual. Rush Limbaugh is way more intellectual than Hannity. Beck doesn't pretend to be one. He's been reading and thinking, and it shows, though.
