yes, he does and said so many times. He felt that she needs to get more knowledge on foreign policy and he is right.

he’s always in our camp, though he may say things that are correctly critical.

Charles has always been a conservative.
Freepers seem to tolerate nobody who differs with them on any opionion.
ANd freepers distort frequently. Charles said early on that he thought O would move to the center as did many people including me. I thought O would do so for pragmatic reasons, what fool hangs in the fringe and expects to be reelected president. That was not a liberal view but a view held by anybody who has watched leftist presidents come on the stage.

Well, knowing Obama's track record, I had no such illusion. Of course, I'm from his neighborhood and have been aware of him longer than most people.

yep, it still surprises me that he has done what he has done. But I now think he is a radical and a stooge.
But Charles was not espousing a liberal line then but some freepers took that as proof he was a liberal or a traitor. It irritated me then and now. THis williingness to label friends as enemies in a knee jerk fashion. We need Charles and indeed all the friends we have.

Hubby and I disagree daily. I think Obama is the stooge of others/ hubby thinks he is the architect. Interesting.
Whatever, he is very dangerous. I once thought he would move as Clinton did the the center. Now I don’t/ now I wonder if all of the dem leaders are commies with the exception of a few.

So anyone who doesn’t like Palin is “not in our camp”,,I keep seeing messages like that. A mistake in my mind. ANd narrow minded.

Each to his own. We agree to disagree, then.

1. I made my comment based on the statement, "ALWAYS in our camp"
2. Have you actually heard what CK says about Palin? He can't stand her.
I think it's narrow minded to defend someone without listening to all he has to say. I mostly agree with CK but he's way off base on his views about Palin and he's not complementary towards her at all. Thus, he's not ALWAYS in our camp.

thanks. !!!
Your responses have been great. It is ridiculous I agree these knee jerk reactions are ridiculous...but then there are those Freepers who are ‘purists’ ( ie, THEIR version of conservative perfection at all times perfectly stated). ha.

And nobody has to be always in my camp.Go back and read the original post that I responded to....It damn sure did say he was "always" in our camp. That's why I posted about his views on Palin. Nothing more, nothing less.

Amen to that! I've got personal experience of Freeper "tolerance." It consists of being called every vile name one can imagine for daring to have an opinion not 100% that of what is prevailing on the thread. Especially supporting Romney. You'd think that was akin to fornicating on the steps of a church or something.
