James P. Hoffa is now saying that if Obama pulls the "public option" out of his healthcare bill, it is not a deal killer as far as union support is concerned.
Hoffa said that he was only interested in what was "doable" and that they need to "get something done and declare a victory."
Now let's take a look at these quotes from Mr. Hoffa, shall we? What does it mean if we aren't seeing obliged union support without integrity for Obama's healthcare coming from Hoffa's Teamsters? Hoffa is saying that he doesn't care at all what healthcare "reform" will look like as long as they can get it done with and "declare a victory."
This is unprincipled support of Obama's healthcare purely for political reasons. What would Hoffa and the unions get from such unprincipled support of Obama's socialist take over of one sixth of our nation's economy? Why is Hoffa so disinterested in the actual outcome of the healthcare debate as long as they win it? What will Hoffa get out of this?
It's all a gambit leading to what the unions really want: the Employee Free Choice Act.

Plus, someone obviously photoshopped that picture.
Uh, excuse me, but if “health care reform” is for all citizens and the good of the entire country’s fiscal and physical health, why should it matter one rat’s ass what the “Teamsters” crooks think about it?
The fact that they are commenting at all serves as evidence that socialized medicine is about one objective:
Turning America into a socialist/communist nation.
Period.
He knows that the “public option” can be removed from the bill and will still be in the “penumbra” for some left-leaning court to add later.
ANY health care bill from this Congress and this President will open the door for our masters in black robes to shackle us with socialized medicine.
Keep fighting!
As long as the unions can dump their healthcare benefits programs on the taxpayer, they’ll be happy.
Todays man on the street interviews with union members during the annual Labor Day parade.Public option a must. Single payer system - Yes. Universal health care NOW. No more concessions.
Well the gift to the unions for their misspent funding of retirement benefits are still in there!
The unions always have “gold standard” health care. They will be forced to go on the govt. plan because it will be so much cheaper and there probably wont be any private insurance companies to provide a plan for the unions. So the Unions will end up with a lot less than they have now.
as long as the unions are taken care of it is all good.
