I didnt know the foot print thing went back that far in the US...
My 1974 and 1979 born children had those from their hospitals in two different states...
The prints were on either side of the document...
That print on the bottom of the Smith document seems to be an add on to a document that would not normally have a print of the babys foot...
Stanley Ann, being an American who might know about the practice and only a girl may have insisted on it as a cute thing to have...
I wonder if that was a normal Kenyan tradition though...
