I wonder if Jane Skinner heard this. Her husbamd is the NFL Commish.
He satisfied the legal system, not me.
If Bernard Madoff got out of prison would he be hired in the financial industry? NO.
Vick deserves a job flipping burgers or the like. Getting his old status back is just wrong. He earns millions and is a role model ?? Come on.
Torturing and killing dogs is more than a character flaw that a little prison time is going to rectify.
Go get’m Megyn
Isn’t Megyn Kelly on right before Jane (my husband’s the NFL commisioner) Skinner? that must have been an interesting off-camera moment....
The man served his time, and deserves a chance to rebuild his life.
On the other hand, the man was an animal torturer. Not once, not a couple of times, but repeatedly over the course of many years. Such crimes reveal a man with a sick soul and a disturbed mind.
Any team taking a chance on a man of this character and dispostion is taking an awfully big risk. I suppose they should be allowed to do so. But if I were a GM, I’d have no trouble passing on Vick.
I wonder if the Eagles have to play at Cleveland this year. Don’t they have that “dog-pound” in Cleveland?
Question:
Which is lower, a guy who kisses their butt licking dog on the mouth, or a guy who takes every opportunity to watch male athletes in tight pants?
Answer:
Same guy — latent homo.
I say...he served his time and he should go back to work.
The fact that he gets so much money for his job seems to
be what bothers people, as if he’s being rewarded for his
crime. But, it just so happens that his job pays alot.
We will just have to see if he learned a lesson in jail,
perhaps he will give some of that money to some children’s
programs, atleast I hope he does something constructive to
show he has changed...
And Megan it’s okay to rethink this and say maybe you were
wrong...please don’t be like the President and not admit
that it’s a possibility you might be wrong...
What Vick did was terrible. But, I noticed Kelly often stands on a soapbox. Not surprised at all that she would hold the crime of animal abuse higher than, as she put it, getting “drunk in a bar, and you have a bar fight, and it winds up really hurting somebody.” That’s a mistake, according to Megyn. In her view, Stallworth made a “mistake”, though he spent only 30 days in prison. Then she compares hurting animals, “the most innocent among us,” to crimes against children.
Animal abuse is horrific, but come on, Megyn...
That said, now that Vick has been signed to a team in my neck of the woods, there are a few pitbulls I’d love to hire someone like him to “take care of.” I’ll take everyone’s word that there are sweet, lovable pitbulls. I feel sorry for any innocent animal who’s mistreated. People who mistreat them should be punished. But, some pitbulls really do need killing, and I can think of a few who pose a serious threat, have gone onto other people’s property and killed smaller animals.

A better question is how long will it take before Vick is in trouble again. His brother Marcus has been in and out of trouble/controversy since at least as far back as 2004.
I have dogs that are more civilized than this POS Vick.
How long before Vick is in trouble again? he’ll be beating up a girlfriend, maybe drowning or electrocuting her cat; or shooting up a hotel room; or killing someone in a drunk driving accident in less than six months.
I’d bet cash money on it.
