That's going to come back to bite them some day.
Why do I keep feeling like I'm living in a Left Behind novel?
Sargento pulled their ads from the Glenn Beck show. Let them know what you think.
Dear Sargento,
I am a big fan of your products, but since you are submitting to political pressure and boycotting the Glenn Beck show, I am boycotting you.
Regards
What do they have to worry about? We quit buying newspapers, magazines, stopped watching TV and movies and those industries are doing just fine - well, not really - they're going under... (take that you liberal elites)
When union goons went after Walmart, we started shopping there - and Walmart's doing just fine. So - bye-bye Geico - don't let the door hit the lizard on the way out...
I thought we were all supposed to be color blind. I guess thats just the rules for white people.
GOD BLESS GLENN BECK, THOSE THAT SURROUND HIM, AND A FREE AMERICA
Two groups have claimed to be leading charge against Beck, Media Matters and Color of Change. Here are links 1, to Media Matters Blog and one to an article referencing it....It has been discussed on FR threads over past few days—if you search Beck, you sill find other threads.

Yeah, but they may view it as purely a business thing...here's a chance to get a bunch of money from all these conservatives. I'm not like that though. I'd never buy Progressive no matter where they advertise.
DONE.... Here's what I said...
I know many GEICO customers that are friends of mine. I have just learned that you are pulling your advertising from the Glenn Beck show in an attempt to limit free speech in this great Country.
To counter that action I will write and call every one of my friends to tell them what you've done and ask them to cancel their policies with you.
I promise you that I will do everything in my power to spread the word and asking other friends of mine if they have your insurance and encourage them to do the same.
I will then find out which insurance company advertise with the Glenn Beck show and let my friends know about a company that supports free speech in America, so they can purchase a car insurance policy and support THAT INSURANCE COMPANY, instead.
There are consequences for your actions. You made a business decision. We will make one too.
That looks like more of an opportunity than a threat. They’re walking up and surrendering!
I will also include a brief missive on Van Jones, his proclaimed affection for communism, a link to read about him, and also the current president of the ridiculous 'color of change' and how Geico has been had.
If Geico is truly political, they won't care, if they are not, maybe they will learn a thing or two.
None of the CZARS answer to congress.
CONGRESS is being NEUTERED in front of their faces, maybe they do not care BUT I DO!
NO ONE HAS VETTED ANY OF THESE CZARS WHO HAVE POWER OVER YOU AND ME.
These CZARS can THREATEN COMPANIES like GEICO because these CZARA answer directly to the President.
This is how uhbama is going to grab the real power.
CONGRESS IS OFFICIALLY ON NOTICE THAT THEY ARE BEING USURPED!
No, it's not. It's Government Employees Insurance Co. They started out, obviously, as an insurer for government employees.
I never watch television. I never even seen Fox news.
Best thing anyone can do is throw the television in the rubbish.
I want to know about these CZARS.
How many can uhbama name....is he going to name hundreds of CZARS until he holds meetings with them, orders them to pursue his policies, and then you and I must follow the various dictates of the various CZARS ( so ugly a name-so RUSSIAN ) without CONGRESS voting on such a policy?
Has uhbama NEUTERED our CONGRESS with these CZARS?
WHO VETS THESE CZARS THAT ARE IN OUR WHITE HOUSE?
WHO ARE THESE CZARS?
HOW MUCH POWER DO THEY HAVE????
His ratings, for 5 to 6, are amazing. I arrive early to work, just to leave early so that I can see him. Thank goodness for my flex hours!
Hubby just called their office, and tried to get a number of some VIP in their marketing dept. The girl on the phone said she could not give out that info. Didn't know what to tell him beyond that, and could only (after a number of time of putting him on hold for LONG periods of time) give him a local office address to WRITE to.
Niiiiicccce.
Thanks for the ping!
We've been friends for a long time, and during those years, we never discussed our political leanings. He's black, and I'm white. I actually met him and his wife while doing historical research on the 55th Massachusetts, the second black regiment from that State during the Civil War. His grandfather was a Sergeant in the regiment. I live in NY State, and we met a few times in D.C. when I was there doing research. I've also met his aunt (101 years old), his children and some of his grandchildren. I haven't seen them in years, but we still send Christmas cards, occasionally talk on the phone, and he periodically sends me an email, usually jokes.
During the last election cycle, he started sending me messages about the Obamas, and some anti-Bush jokes. I guess he assumed that I was a Democrat. In a phone conversation last summer, he mentioned that he had been working on getting Obama elected. I never said anything in response, just kept silent. Up until the mailing yesterday, I never bothered to write anything back when he'd send me a pro-Obama message. I deleted the "Putting an End to Glenn Beck's Racist Antics and Apocalyptic Rhetoric" email message he forwarded to me into the trash, but it bothered me most of the evening and into this morning.
This morning, I finally composed a message to him and said that we'd been friends for a long time, and in that time, we never discussed our political leanings. I originally thought of writing that I was an evil Conservative, but decided against it. I didn't mention that I was a registered Republican (not that that means anything today), or a Conservative, and never mentioned Obama's name. I simply asked him not to be offended if I asked him to remove my email address from any emails he chose to forward to others that consisted of political messages. I then brought him up to date on what was going on with my two sons, and told him I hoped he and his wife were having a good summer. Short and sweet. If I never hear from him again, that will be okay, because then I will know that he chooses his friends based on their political beliefs.
Oh no. Did she call the number on the bill, the customer service number? We need to find another number. Maybe there is a listing online of their CEO and their BOARD MEMBERS. Oh yeah. That’s that ticket!
Only idiots would buy insurance from a company that uses Geckos, Cavemen and other bsers as their spokespeople with a critical product like insurance.
Is Progressive one of the companies?
