Eligibility arguments to get court hearing - 'For 1st time, we have a judge who's listening'

In what ultimately could prove to be a turning point in the legal challenges to Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, a federal judge in California has planned a hearing on the merits of a federal court case raising those questions.

According to attorney Orly Taitz, who is working on multiple cases alleging Obama is a "usurper" because he doesn't meet the constitutional requirement that only a "natural born citizen" can be president, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter ruled in a hearing today that her case will move forward.

The hearing was on her motion for a default order against Obama, because although Taitz said she notified him of the action, Obama's attorneys did not make an appearance.

Her complaint was filed against the president on Jan. 20, the day of his inauguration, over his actions before he became president.

your theory would have rendered both George Romney (born in Mexico when US citizen parents on the lam for polygamy) and Lowell Weicker (Born in France when rich US citizen parents on vacation) ineligible. Nobody thought so at the time they were running. Also, someone whose Nth generation american father had a wife giving birth in the US whose citizenship didn’t come through until the next day. I don’t think that would fly either. If Obama is not eligible, it’s not because he fails your standard.

“The judge said as a former Marine he recognizes the importance of having a constitutionally qualified president.”

This looks very encouraging.

It's really a loyalty test, one attempt to prevent treason.

One attempt to prevent treason... shout this from the rooftops. This is EXACTLY what happened. A foreign agent has usurped the United States with the help of Communists in Congress. We have been overthrown by the Left and its tool... the Media.

That one old former Marine can become the most important man on the planet.

RE: "shield of protection around Judge Carter"

What the Rat Party is doing to IGs has been in recent news -- and there are things that they can do to federal judges or anyone else.

Though the Rat Party may not have had a hand in the put down of Able Danger nevertheless it was a hint of what can be made to happen.

Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer besides sudden accusations of false travel mileage and use of his cell phone for personal matters, the alleged infractions include obtaining a service medal under false pretenses, improperly flashing military identification while drunk and stealing pens from an office supply cabinet -- more than 20 years ago!

.. and of course Congressman Weldon and family started getting FBI visits just before the election (2006?). He lost.

I hope he has to pay the American people for all his and his family’s freeloading vacations at the very least!

Bill? Hillary? Who twisted Hillary’s arm?

Somehow I think Billy Bob will get revenge with the BC. The people who may expose the Kenyan may be Dems. It would not suprise me.

They will then try to pin it on:
1. Rush
2. Cheney
3. Sarah
4. FR
5. WND

Dear Faith, when I tried to repost your prayer, I was having computer difficulties and could not write more than the prayer itself. Thank you for the beautiful prayer! I felt goodness and light coming from your prayer. My prayer is that others will also pray the eleoquent words you wrote. I will certainly pass them on to all I know. May God bless and keep you.

The Teleprompter’s attorneys no showed? Usually this is a bad thing in most courts...er I mean honest courts which really do not exist. Maybe there is still one honest judge somewhere.

Don’t get your hopes up. The judge made the US attorney accept service, which means they will enter a motion to dismiss in 60 days. Nothing has moved forward.

Axelrod had surrogates find pretty easy who would consent to release divorce and custody hearing records of his opponents.

Turnabout is fair play. Time for the "pictures" of Axilrod and friends... They, too, are public figures according to New York Times v. Sullivan.

I predict Dems will work to strangle this nightmare. They, to some extent, did the same thing to Carter.

That's strange! Obama's two planted reporters didn;t show up at the G-8 presser the other day. Looks like the rats are starting to scurry!

RE: Congratulations. You win the “I Understand What the 60’s Were All About” Award!

Thank you. Yes, I was there and I was all grown up -- at least as far as I have been able to make it.
