WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's push for quick action by Congress on climate change legislation suffered a setback on Thursday when the U.S. Senate committee leading the drive delayed work on the bill until September.
Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer said her self-imposed deadline of early August for finishing writing a bill to combat global warming has been put off until after Congress returns from a recess that ends in early September.

I am wondering whether this has something to do with the 48% approval she has, or she does not want this passed before she has to go home to California and defend higher taxes during the August recess.

The polling shows American’s want no part of this fairy tale BS, that’s why. Look for more and more MSM stories about the devastation caused by global warming. The international socialists (including the democrat party) will coordinate the phony press.
But it won’t work if every conservative GOPer and thinking patriot continues to expose this crock ‘o shiite.
They need a break to fly all over the states and the world in their co2 emission machines otherwise known as jet aircraft.
So they can find out more about global warming, foreign oil usage and the deficit/debt.

And that constituency she has to go home to this summer is already facing higher taxes, higher costs, and a rapidly diminishing employer and taxpayer base due to the spend-spend-and-spend-more California legislature.
