“Mitt and the Huckster HATE her....she beats them at every turn”

They are such losers it’s nauseating.

I would bet $1000.00 that the family will move to the lower 48.....August.

Please God, turn the hearts of the Palins to Texas!

Wish I could say that abou the Beltway G.O.P., but I can’t, can I?

Best,

One of the problems with your post is that Palin is not “playing the victim card.” To misinterpret like this leaves a very bad impression with regard to your perceptive abilities.

Thanks, and just to add to it - she CLEARLY was not going there alone to put on a show...for she must have known that she was an extreme long shot to be a presidential candidate, and DEFINITELY could not have expected the Anchorage Daily News (or any media, for that matter) to point out that she went there alone.

She is genuine.

“Please God, turn the hearts of the Palins to Texas!”

It’d be a good, centrally located place for them to live — a great base of operations so Sarah can “deploy” for speaking appearances throughout the US without tying up extra days for travel time.

BUT, I’d rather see her move to VA! :-)

Although it seems to be the right move, for some reason I can’t see them leaving Alaska. Sarah and Todd both have their families there, their friends, their roots - I think they would be miserable here. What a dilemma this is for the family and a huge sacrifice. Wonder if she would get four yeses and one hell, yes on a move.

“Palin is the only major political figure in the past 20 years who regularly comes to (Anchorage) Daily News editorial board meetings by herself, with no flunkies or handlers.”

"One riot, one Ranger". That cinches it, she needs to move to Texas. :)

I see no indication that she is moving to the lower 48,

We gotta find her lake property where Todd can tie his Super Cub up at the dock....normal fare in Alaska...not so much in the lower 48...

HECK YEA!!

I agree, fellow Texan. It would be great if she showed up here and then immediately ran for Gov., and then Prez in 2012...although I cannot imagine that happening (still fun to think about, though).

Screw that, if she came here and got elected I'll be damned if we send another great Governor to those ungrateful bastards in Washington. From now on, we keep them for ourselves. Then let Letterman shoot off his mouth and see what he thinks about how Texans teach men how to be respectful to Southern Ladies.

I know this is a fast-paced world but give me a break. Sarah hasn’t relinquished her job yet.

I really believe she will move down to the Lower 48 and make it her base of operations.

Rush has said the same thing: she needs to be in the lower 48 . . . but I see no indication that she is moving to the lower 48...

Ya hear that, Sarah? Get a move on. LS is getting impatient. You've had a whole four days to get this done, already. What are you, a slacker or something?

Sheeeesh......

I think that Sarah instinctively grasps strategic concepts like the OODA Loop.

I doubt that anyone could rise from local PTA president to Vice Presidential candidate on their own steam, if they didn’t.

I don’t think the point is to mitigate the travel time, it’s just that the number of trips, with the time each one consumes, is used against her as governor. A relative handful of trips for her and she’s painted as an absentee governor.

...as opposed to playing the victim card as she has spent the last few days doing.

I don't think that Sarah's been "playing the victim card". She, her family, the Governor's office, and the people of Alaska have actually been victimized by ruthless scoundrels who weren't satisfied with her simply being on the bottom of a losing presidential ticket.

No, losing to their guy wasn't good enough. The sick, twisted morons went after her with slander and frivolous lawsuits in order to destroy her.

All Sarah has done, is tell the truth to the world about what has happened. I never once heard her snivel or whine about being a "victim". She simply outed her attackers, and let everyone know just how lowdown and despicable these idiots are.
