Obama Lies About How He Met His Wife: Liberal Media Scrambles to Cover for Him

Well, when all you do is lie, this kinda stuff is going to happen to you.

“I don’t know if anybody else will meet their future wife or husband in class like I did, but I’m sure that you’re all going to have wonderful careers,” he said as he warmed up the audience before delivering a commencement speech at an economics school in Moscow Tuesday.

But the truth is that the couple met not “in class” but at a law firm in Chicago, Sidley Austin, in 1989. Obama was a summer associate (essentially a legal intern) there and Robinson was an attorney completing her first year at the firm. Both attended Harvard Law School, but Michelle graduated in the spring of 1988, while Barack Obama did not arrive at the Cambridge, Mass., campus until that fall.

And here's how the liberal media is covering for his idiocy.

Perhaps Barry is confusing Michelle with another girlfriend from college or law school?

In all the writing Obama has done, he just writes about his male friends.

There is only one reference in Dreams to a woman -- Obama disapproved of what he called other “half-breeds” who gravitated toward whites instead of blacks. And yet after college, he once fell in love with a white woman, only to push her away when he concluded he would have to assimilate into her world, not the other way around. He later married a black woman. -- I happen to think this was a device to make a racial point rather than a true anecdote. I just don't see Obama dating a white woman while he was organizing in Harlem.

I would be interested to know if Obama attended his junior or senior proms at Punahou.

I can name umpteen couples who met in high school class or college class, it ain't such a stretch!

I'd be willing to bet, though, that most of those upteen couples attended the same school at the same time. A graduating senior from the previous class has virtually no chance whatsoever of sharing a class with an incoming freshman of the following year's class.

In 1989, Barack Obama joined Sidley Austin as a summer intern — and Barack and Michelle met. — she was his summer adviser.

Guess who else he met at that law firm that summer?

The terrorist, Bernadine Dohrn, Bill Ayers’ wife, who helped bomb something like 25 targets, including the Capitol and the Pentagon.

Dohrn was working at the firm as a result of the recommendation of the CEO of Chicago’s power company, Tom Ayers. His son, the unrepentant terrorist, Bill Ayers, ran the organization that put up the money to bring Obama to Chicago in the first place.

Ayers’ father, Thomas Ayers, was CEO of Commonwealth Edison as well as a trustee of Tribune Co. and chairman of the board of Northwestern University.

Dohrn had not practiced law and been out of law school for 17 years while she was oh so busy doing, uh, other things,

Dohrn wasn’t licensed to practice law. Though she passed the bar exam, the ethics committee turned her down because of her rap sheet and that limited the type of work she could do at Sidley Austin, which she left after a few years.

“Dohrn didn’t get a license because she’s stubborn. She wouldn’t say she’s sorry, said the head of the firm, Tienens.”

I guess it’s a small world after all?
