With respect to the rumor-mill that was desperately trying to churn out the extortion lies, I carefully watched twitter to see who said what, then doubled back doing some research of my own trying to locate the origins of the stories.
Then I conducted a WHOIS search on a powerful tool I use which found the main websites linked together to one main site are all inter-related... and a lawyer/former lobbyist is the Registered Admin for the site. She is extremely highly connected - to a powerful lobbying legal firm - and the who's who throughout Washington, New York, Chicago and beyond. I checked into her facebook connections AND her trail of contacts/connections through the mapping tools at muckety. It blew me away.
I nexted checked into the Technical Admin. No surprise to find that he is an SEO Streaming Email teckie geek - a real master, knows his stuff extremely well. What did surprise me is his ownership in a solar company specializing in solar power.
Many of the sites connected thru that one website you will recognize. They've been mentioned in comments here (plus there are more).
Some of the names connected to their web through the lobby legal firm will blow your mind. It will shock you how high the connection goes... and how deep.
I've not mentioned names here because I don't know who to trust with this information. It's out there, if someone has the patience to dig deep and far enough.
This is more than a machine -- it is a monster of massive proportions. My hope is that Sarah will succeed in bringing it down.
Know any geeks that can expose these guys legally?
I have to say it goes deeper than Mitt. It’s the GOP machine, I guess the money behind/with the power?
For example the GOP backing Crist and trying to dump Rubio before he gets started. It’s much bigger than potential 2012 prez candidates.
Okay, okay..., I should have added in the RINO-bots, too.... LOL...
They infuriate me. Hoping Palin will help Rubio out for us down here.

Reganing hope again after a couple days. Hope that Palin not only made the right decision but made the necessary one.
It’s probably not likely that Gov Palin will work for Rubio v. Crist. For better or worse, Crist took a lot of credit for McCain getting the nomination last year, and worked vigorously on the McCain-Palin campaign. Unless Crist was part of the cabal that worked to undermine her, she’d likely show him courtesy and loyalty by not working against him. Also, as a fellow-governor, they’d have had a working relationship.
Since, Charlie has been showing lots of love to Boma.
Also Charlie would have done better to come out of the closet than to marry the beard.
It would help a lot to know what websites and facebook info the author researched.. Anyone can use WHOIS, and google the names found on whois. I bet freepers could connect the dots in minutes if they/us knew the websites.
My understanding is that Bill Kristol outed Steve (somebody), who was McCain’s campaign something. Evidently, he was the one who talked to Vanity Fair.

Do you have evidence of that .. because Bill Kristol says it’s from Steve (somebody) who was a part of McCain’s campaign.
I’d be careful accusing people without evidence.
Maybe Sarah resigned because she knows or is close to finding out? She’ll have more time to persue as a private citizen. (Like what’s “private” about being a citizen?)
Crist also supported Palin in her decision coming out Friday night with support.
That was the jerk Steve Schmidt. Anyone that knew the scumbag thought he was one of the sources immediately.
