Its Time for her to change the game and go after the opposition.
What satan meant for bad, God is turning for good - and Sarah knows it. She unconventional because she walks by faith and not by sight.

You’re too clueless to understand. You say “we” after ALL YOUR trashing of Sarah? NEVER include me in association w/you - got it?. She has the conservative support and the vote. Get used to it loser.

No way were going to support a quitter. Since when is being offered a better job being a quitter? It's called a promotion. It's how capitalists, and regular Americans, move up.
When you were offered a job at Bed Bath and Beyond from MacDonald's did you turn it down because you thought you'd be seen a a quitter?

You got that right. I went to the poll to see if the choice: To kick ass was there- cuz that was the choice I was lookin for

I think she’s taking a page from the Ronald Reagan playbook ...
After he lost the nomination in ‘76, he campaigned like hell for the GOP in the off-year elections ...
When ‘80 came around, he collected his markers ..

She's made this decision after a great deal of prayer. She is willing to let God use her to accomplish what is best for other people....
Had a discussion earlier in the day with a freeper who had a political science back ground. He kept saying...this move will destroy her etc etc....He forgot God is working in this....
We all need to read the old testament and the anointment of God's most unlikely rulers.

ROFL! Stepping aside to give the chance for Lt. Gov to establish his own "chops" and being a viable candidate for Governor when her term was up. Nothing would be to gain for the citizens of Alaska or the country for her to "ride the lame-duck" even if she was elected to a second term.
Huff-post skank was on Fox saying Palin's got a "book deal" and gonna rake in the big bucks....Making sure all the Romneybots wake up with cold sweats after the final nail is put into the RINO's coffin. Anything that makes the FLIP Romney RINOs nervous deserves a THUMBS UP!

Most folks think the following quote was from his resignation.
“You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore, because gentlemen, this is my last press conference.” (November 7, 1962)
Say what you will, Nixon was a fighter, and was in it for the long run. Sarah is a fighter too, and I think (hope!) she sees the bigger picture too.

What “better job” than being Governor was she offered?
So was I right?
She’s getting her own talk show opposite David Letterman?
Or is she’s joining the cast of The View?

A two term Obama? That would be like a two term Jimmy Carter. Unless the people who really do bow to the owl in the forest are running this country, I doubt her decision has anything to do with 2016.

You posted a photo of Reagan. Would Reagan have prematurely ended his first term as governor? It just doesn’t seem like a bankable strategy.

Sarah is so tough she’s tougher than me. I cannot and never will field dress a moose. I like to shoot, but I don’t hunt. I will not ever have 5 children. I defer to her superior womanhood. I wonder if she can operate a Bobcat as good as I can, or drive a tractor, or other unconventional things mostly left to men. I like the saying “I am Sarah Palin” since many of us gals are a lot like her, but there is no one like Sarah really. She is one in a trillion, a gift from God, like Rush and like Ronaldus Magnus.

Giving the Lt. Gov more legs to ‘prove’ himself for a run when her term expired is a “bankable strategy”. It would not have served the people of Alaska for her to remain in the office (even if for only the remainder of one term) and eventually step down later for a 2012 run. If she’d been elected for a second term as Governor, the LIEberal media would still be using their poor attempt to discredit her by “abandoning her office”.
Of course they will use the ‘experience’ angle once again since it only matters if a Republican is running. Experience certainly wasn’t a factor with sHillary or DUh-bama.
Sarah Palin is “stepping down” from Alaskan Governor to move on to a higher calling, thus driving the LIEberal media to be twisted in knots still trying to figure out a playbook to deal with it.

Read her speech, she told us exactly why.
I did. The "lame duck" thing seemed particularly strange. The people of Alaska elected her to a four year term, not a term limited by her sense of contribution. I suppose I would have understood it if she had something like "the recent national election has made me a national figure, and I intend to run for president, and since that is a demanding job, I will leave Alaska in the capable hands of the Lt. Governor."
The "fighting for Trig" on a national basis seemed even more strange. Would a national campaign make her more or less vulnerable to "mean spirited adults?" You can't have the warm family time theme and the national campaign theme in the same breath without making them both sound compromised.
She's going to run for President. Great. But she needs to get a decent speech writer one of these days.
