I hope you’re right, but don’t count on it. Politicians at ANY level, federal or state, are interested in power, first and foremost. Just as Washington politicians have sold out the nation and the American people, state politicians will cheerfully sell out their states for the right “incentives.” The one great blunder made by the founders was the failure to include term limits in the Constitution. They believed the people would overturn any government, long before it became as corrupt as ours. So although I’d be pleased if you turned out right, I’m betting on the armed revolution.

I have a feeling the Statesmen founders who wrote the Constitution couldn't perceive of people actually wanting to be career politicians.. for them, they had to leave their farms, stores, churches and families, and travel far away just to argue with other folks for no monetary benefit. They probably never expected that becoming a politician could make you a millionaire.

Exactly right... all politicians are driven by self-preservation. We need to dictate what it takes for them to save themselves.
