Governor Palin: Most Dangerous Threat To The Øbama Admin With No Close 2nd
Governor Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 06/19/2009 8:45:44 PM PDT by MaxCUA

The best & the brightest on the left go into politics. The best on the right run their own businesses. So it is no surprise that the left is far more adept, even expert at the art of hardball politics. And they are telling us something profound.

The left is telling us something many feel, many find as a hunch, that Sarah Palin is the most dangerous threat to the Øbama administration with no close second. The left is telling us this by their "over the top" attacks. Not just the Letterman assaults, but the constant barrage of grievances filed against her in Alaska. The attacks every day on Palin for no apparent reason -- except that the left seems to see her quite differently from any Republican candidate. A difference of kind, not of degree.

That’s because you’re blind as a forkin’ Obama-worshipper.

Actually, if anyone is practicing that sort of substance-less personality politics, it's you. And you're following it up with similar Alinskyite personal attacks just to make the parallel complete.

Would you like to talk about the unalienable rights of the child in the womb, the destructive nature of the judicial supremacist mindset, the agenda for global socialism represented by the "climate change" cabal, or the breakdown of the rule of law and the demographic, political and economic nightmare that is being visited on our people by the open borders McCainiacs? Or are you only capable of acting like a juvenile?

“They are going to kill her, or at least try.”

Somebody gave it a try already (or at least sent the message they were after her) by setting the Wasilla Bible Church on fire.

I already talked about them. I showed you up on them, and now you're acting like a sore little child.

Come back and talk to me when you actually have better information than what I have. Oh, what's that? You're not actually plugged into the Palin campaign like I am? Guess you won't have any information that can top what I have.

You don't even bother to investigate. Once you do, then you'll stop being a cancer on MY conservative cause.

"I cannot see any other candidate, that is truly conservative, pro-American, pro-Constitution, law-abiding, honest and credible with proven performance."

I'm not emotionally tied to one party or the other. If the democrats ran someone who fit this description, they would get my vote. Sadly for our country, the democrats have become a party that chooses candidates specifically because they are liberal, anti-American, anti-Constitution, law-breaking, dishonest and not credible, preferably with no record of real-world performance.

I like her, but I think she’s been too thoroughly damaged by the negligence of the McCain campaign combined with the constant negative spin from the Hussein/left wing propaganda machine in the media to have any chance of winning a national election.

No. We can't give up on every true conservative who gets trashed by the liberal media, although that is their goal. Sarah Palin would be a great president, and after another three years under the incompetent moron who is occupying our White House voters will be eager to trade up to a great leader. Governor Palin not only has a chance, she has far better odds than any career politician who doesn't believe in anything. She's the real deal, and I hope to see her earn the nomination. She should not be "coronated" under the idea that it's her turn, but if she can earn it she can win in November and save our country.

"The best & the brightest on the left go into politics. Kerry, Obama, Boxer, Gore, Franken, Kennedy, etc." When I think of these leftists, best and brightest is NOT the first thing that comes to mind.

Keep in mind, he said "on the left". That's like saying "the top of the Special Education class".

I like her but she wont have a chance in hell in winning I;m sorry to say . Again I like her but we need an almost historical figure to come out and lead us against the Marxist take over of American..She’s not it.

It must be nice to be psychic. Two years ago, I would have said that an anti-American socialist with no professional experience would have no chance of taking the nomination from Hillary. I would have given 5-1 odds that the Dems would nominate the junior senator from NY, the GOP would nominate some moron RINO, and the GOP would lose. I know I'm not psychic [okay, I got our nominee right, but that was obvious], because I missed that one.

2012? None of us can predict what will happen. The obamathugs may have a lock on counting the ballots, in which case obama wins and America dies. The GOP may have a new star, one who earns the nomination by exciting the voters rather than by making deals in party offices, and I'll vote for that person if the issues and integrity are right. Or, we may go with the only star I know of in the party and she may have learned over these four years how to handle the press. I don't think she's in any way stupid, although I'll admit she was a little naive when she took the VP nomination. I doubt that she had any idea just how biased and unprofessional the mainstream media would be. They caught her by surprise ... and that won't happen again.

I didn’t call her stupid. I just think she needs to grow some between the ears. When I hear her, I don’t get a feeling of wisdom emanating from her.

What we need is a "wise latina woman"? No thank you.

What we need is a practical person with values, accomplishments, and sincerity. Palin says the right things and really does believe what she says, and that's more important than whether she can explain the differences between special relativity and general relativity or analyze the symbolism of a post-modern poem.

He is an evil man being used by satan. Who knows, but he could be the anti Christ. He shows all the traits.

Nope, not the anti-Christ. obama is pure evil, but he's nowhere near as smart as the real thing will be. That's bad news. We know American voters can be tricked by a rather mindless thug who reads nicely from TOTUS. We're going to be in big trouble when we face the real thing (although the good news is that we'll have some big help when that time comes).

For example, I think big business is a power center that most GOP types worship instead of examining. Some of my most pitched battles have been over minimum wages and how I think they have been kept far too low.

Big business is a liberal bastion. Conservatives tend to favor smaller government which favors small business.

As a victim of minimum wage long ago (I wasn't worth minimum wage and had a very hard time finding a job because of it), I favor a low minimum wage. Why would we price people out of the job market by making it illegal to hire them for what they're worth?

As for obama and Biden, I haven't seen anyone less qualified than obama in our White House in my lifetime [I wasn't alive when Buchanan led us into the Civil War]. And Biden? He's arrogant without even the slightest justification for that flaw.

Wrong. The Reagan plank recognizes the personhood of the child in the womb, and their resultant protection by the Fourteenth Amendment. It has since 1984. Governor Palin holds the Ron Paul, John McCain 'pro-choice for states' position. The two views are mutually exclusive.

Governor Palin isn't pro-life enough for you? Wow!

Maybe my standards are lower, but I'll settle for the observation that she's pro-life and we know as an absolute fact that she means what she says.

I'll settle for the observation that she's pro-Second Amendment, and we know as an absolute fact that she means what she says.

I'll settle for the observation that she's charismatic, experienced, and ready for the job.

Or ... we could hold out for a candidate that precisely matches our views on every issue ... and end up with an extra four years under obama's rule.

Governor Palin is the only politician I've ever seen that can actually change hearts and minds on the issue of life. That represents a mortal threat to the abortion industry.

She was welcomed as a hero at the Vanderburgh County Right-To-Life event in April. No other politician could have given the speech she gave there from the heart on life...not Reagan, not anybody. She was mobbed by the right-to-life activists there who were pleading with her to run for president.

I know there are a few people on this board that will never support anyone that doesn't meet their particular standard of perfection. That does nothing but help the forces of evil.

Agree completely, unkus. Most people do not understand what or whom they’re dealing with in the person of Sarah Palin.

They may try. But if she continues to walk in the grace and protection of the Almighty, which she has done thus far in her life, they won’t succeed.

You’d think that those who utter negative statements about Sarah Palin (on this forum) totally missed the electrifying and unifying effect she had on millions of conservatives and Republicans during the election.

What do they think that most of us were reacting to? Her good looks? Her relaxed, folksy manner?

Or, could it be that she was saying the things that conservatives and American patriots have longed to hear since Reagan left us?
