Having grown up listening to flamboyant heterosexuals like David Lee Roth and Steven Tyler, I can’t say whether or not his sexuality had anything to do with it. I think a lot of people thought he’s weird. I loved it, so far as there things go. Probably the strongest pure singer ever on the show. Certainly the most comfortable performer.
