Honeymoon's Over:Now Obama Faces Reality

I know I will get some lefties pointing out that his approval ratings are still "through the roof". He's still popular, yes, not necessarily all that popular for a president in his second two hundred day. Regardless of that, President Obama now begins the real heavy lifting of his presidency. Over the next six to eighteen months here are some things facing the president: the deteriorating economy, closing GITMO, confronting Iran, winning in Afghanistan, passing both universal health care and cap and trade. No doubt his cult followers will believe he will ace all these tests, but in reality, there are dangers and pitfalls everywhere and so far the early report card for Obama on all these matters is troubling.

“President Obama now begins the real heavy lifting of his presidency.”

With her ‘man arms’ he’ll be turning the heavy lifting over to ‘Michele Ma Belle’ in the very near future.

Look for her ‘Chocolate Chip Cookie’ recipes in the next issue of Oprah’s rag...

Ah Diana- you look for that cookie recipe. In the first place neither one know how to bake a cookie, and I have never even looked at Oprah’s magazine...doubt I will start now.

However your thoughts are right on track for sure.

The only thing I’ve ever read (Library copies; never purchased) in the Oprah mags are the book reviews. And then when I ventured to read one, I usually threw it across the room part of the way in, LOL!

Oh, Boy! Lefties and what passes for ‘Literature.’ If it’s not about someone surviving childhood incest, it’s about discovering that they’re gay, or that their older ‘sister’ is really their ‘mother.’

Laura Bush's Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

3 cups quick oats (not old fashioned)

2 cups chopped walnuts

3 cups chocolate chunks
