As in the case of Lowe's Building Supply (before public pressure caused them to remove it), AARP buries the page deep in the website under Health or Safety for Chiiildrun.

Firearms should always be stored unloaded and separate from ammunition.
Excuse me Mr. KrazyEyes Killer. I've got my gun right here but I have to run upstairs, unlock my ammunition cabinet, load the gun and then return to deal with you. Please, make yourself at home. I shan't be a minute!

That’s no surprise. The AARP was pushing feminist (i.e., anti-family) policies during the early or mid-’90s.

AARP is nothing more than ACORN for geezers.

I don’t know why they won’t take me off their mailing list—I’ll never be able to retire, and actually want to work till I’m called home.

Just to be fair... Go to AARP site and use the search feature. Try “gun” as a word, then “firearms”. Really can not find anything substantial on the site using their search engine.
So is just a hit piece???
