This is Fascism my friends. I am repeating what I wrote on another thread:

We are seeing Fabian Socialism in action. For those too lazy to study up on this enemy of our freedom, Fabian Socialism is a stealth method to bring Communism to a free people. The warnings about this transformational strategy have run throughout history and are well described in numerous writings. In 1942, Stuart Chase, in his book “The Road We Are Traveling” spelled out the goals of Fabians Socialism. It is incredible that these goals were shown so long ago and the people of this free country have sat on their butts while it has come to 2009 America with their front man Zer0:
1. Strong, centralized government.

2. Powerful Executive at the expense of Congress and the Judicial.

3. Government controlled banking, credit and securities exchange.

4. Government control over employment.

5. Unemployment insurance, old age pensions.

6. Universal medical care, food and housing programs.

7. Access to unlimited government borrowing.

8. A managed monetary system.

9. Government control over foreign trade.

10. Government control over natural energy sources, transportation and agricultural production.

11. Government regulation of labor.

12. Youth camps devoted to health discipline, community service and ideological teaching consistent with those of the authorities.

13. Heavy progressive taxation.

This once proud nation will be a fascist state by 2010 and there will only be a whimper of resistance.

Well done. I've made similar points on other threads. Something to consider in addition: Louis Blanqui was a French socialist who thought that socialism could be put in place by a small, secret band of radicals. Those radicals would come into power, then suddenly stage a coup against society and bring about a socialist revolution. Marx and Lenin thought Blanqui was mad -- it wouldn't work because you need the mass of people below pushing for the revolution, you can't impose it from above -- least of all by a small group of crypto extremists!

But I believe that a Fabian strategy has laid the ground work, and that a Blanqui-style coup by Chicago radicals has destroyed the system of government given to us by the Founders.
