My apologies for over reaction, but this bullshit with the stinking government that I gave 20 years, 3 months and 8 days of my life to, is really beginning to piss me off.

...yes, they came to my door and gave me promotional literature on the census, they marked down my address, but I’m not they took GPS coordinates...not sure why they would either, seems like a huge amount of unnecessary info. Why bother?

I am sure Obama's people will find a way to abuse many powers which were assumed by the Bush Administration.
I have always thought the people whould look at any Government power as if it were to be diabolically abused, and write in safeguards from there or just not grant it.

GPS of every voter in the country? My guess for the first use of such information is a very accurate gerrymandering process to be done state by state.

They simply enter your address in the device and push a button. The hand held computer then uses GPS signals from numerous satellites overhead to estimate the number of meters on the X, Y and Z axis' from the geocentric center of the earth to the computer and it records those three numbers next to your address. You are "marked" (poor choice of words) inside the computer. Later they can compare the location stored in the hand held computer to a main database to verify that you were visited and counted. The UPS and the FedEx guys do it all the time and probably the meter reader for your utilities too. I use it to find my deer stand in the dark, and then to find my way back to the vehicle when I'm done.

No, they have whether a person votes but not what a person votes (except in the aggregate). Do you realize that saying things like that may suppress conservative votes?
