RHINO No More- Specter to Switch Parties- A Copy of his Statement

Fox News has confirmed the rumor first posed on Human Events. Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter has announced that he will run for re-election as a DEMOCRAT, RINO No MORE.

Several officials say veteran Republican Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania intends to switch parties, advancing his own hopes of winning a new term next year while pushing Democrats one step closer to a 60-vote filibuster-resistant majority. The sources said an announcement could come later in the day—or Wednesday. The officials who provided the information did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss his plans. The reason for the switch is that Senator does not believe that he can win the Republican nomination.

Specter lost the support of many of his constituents and his Republican colleagues when he switched sides on the famous porkulus bill creating Americas largest deficit ever.

“What does Specter expect to get from being a Democrat?”

Not losing the primary to an ANGRY Conservative Republican Electorate, thanks to a CLOSED PRIMARY that will now be DOMINATED by Conservatives, due to the big registration switches of 2008.

This was predicted LAST FALL, and Spector obviously sees the writing on the wall.
