While the world is pushing Israel to give away the farm along with Jerusalem and the the Temple Mount, the Palestinian Authority has yet to make concession one. George Mitchell is touring the Middle East practically stopping strangers on the street to exclaim that a "two state solution" is in America's best interests. The sad part is that all the pressure is on Israel, while the Palestinians refuse to recognize the most basic of understandings, recognizing Israel as the Jewish homeland. In fact, today, the PA reiterated its refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish State:

Abbass (misspelling intentional) and the Palis don’t WANT two states. They want just one; their own. Yet 0bama and the fools in our State Dept think splitting it up into two parts will end 60 years of fighting and suddenly Jews and Arabs will all live in peace. Ignorance is not bliss, it’s dangerous.

Too bad, Israel, you are now on your own (except for the prayers of millions of us practicing Christians who take the Bible seriously when it refers to those who support Israel vs. those who oppose her...). 0bama will not support you doing anything to defend yourself.

Abu Rudaineh called Netanyahu’s words a “provocation”... The Hamas-led breakaway PA government in Gaza, meanwhile, still refuses to recognize Israel at all...

The arabs have just saved us a lot of time and effort.

They say they want a "two state solution" but they really want a two or three or four state solution that doesn't include Israel. When the arabs are talking about a two state solution neither Israel nor anyone else should imagine that Israel is one of the states envisioned as coming out of the final peace plan.

Jordan, Palestine, and Egypt. Israel? They have no intention of accepting a Jewish state in their midst. So forget it, and quit dreaming.

Based on that, Israel should not bother to communicate with Abbas at all. If Abbas needs to communicate with Israel for any reason, he should talk to them by way of Amman; Israel should accept communications only by way of Amman. Gaza should direct their communications by way of Cairo. These are rump territories that are not viable and will never be viable separate from their mother countries. They were designed to be cancers on Israel's hide; she should seal them off and in one motion they become Jordan's problem, and Egypt's problem.

There will never be an independent arab west bank, and there will never be an independent Gaza. They are not viable and never will be.
