Similar technology. You need a deep recess in the rock to make marbles.
You arrange the rock with the deep recess so that water falls into it constantly. Then you put in your candidate marble stone.
The constant tumbling inside the cavity wears the marble stone to a spherical shape, and you take it out when it’s the right size.
Takes a while. But hey, marbles!

More like Yabba Dabba Don't time here. Grumble. Not only do I have an offsite meeting all day tomorrow (that's to get us away from the distractions of the office) and a good part of Thursday, if memory serve me correctly, but we start with a really early teleconference/meeting from a couple management levels further up than this morning's teleconference/meeting.
This means getting up earlier, driving farther. to find an unfamiliar place in a facility I actually have been to once -- years ago, and be awake, mentally sharp and rarin' to go when I arrive. Usually not a problem but I've been dragging lately.
But to look on the happy side -- It's Raining!!!!!!!
