U.S.A. Captain Richard Phillips (bless him!) is raining on Barack Obamas Easter Parade.
So, too is U.S. Central Command Chief Gen. David Petraeus (not so long ago General Betray Us to Code Pink, Obama and the Dems).
With the escalating dramatic Indian Ocean standoff, here we have an international incident with the Obamas--two short days before Easter Sunday--still looking for a church to attend and three days before the Easter Egg roll on the White House east lawn.
Cpt. Phillips failed breakaway swim back to his ship is bound to work against him in Washington, DC--where an appeaser (Barack-I won-Obama) is now in full command.
Its downright manly to try to make a shark-ridden swim for freedom in a politically correct world. Particularly when the most aggressive physical thing Obama has done lately is his workout in the White House gym to maintain his beefcake look for the covers of magazines.
Here it is the Good Friday of the long Easter weekend, and the world view is trained on the off-screen pirate drama unfolding in the Indian Ocean.
Four Somali terrorists are holding a U.S. sea captain aboard a drifting lifeboat. (Obama and Hillary Clinton call them criminals, mainstream media call them bandits).
Little people everywhere call them what they are, terrorists.
According to MyWay.com:
One of their leaders, a certain Mohamed Samaw, a Somali resident of the pirate stronghold in central Eyl town, who claims to have a share in a British-owned ship hijacked Monday, said four foreign ships previously captured by pirates are heading toward the lifeboat. A total of 54 hostages are on two of the ships, citizens of China, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, the Philippines, Tuvalu, Indonesia and Taiwan.

Just when you need Popeye, Wimpy shows up!
If B Hussein can’t end this little incident, imagine how he’d handle a real crisis. On second thought, I’d rather not.
If B Hussein cant end this little incident, imagine how hed handle a real crisis....
Very sad and dangerous for us. He’s beyond inept. He’s in consultation with his teleprompter as we speak.....
Just point a Phalanx at them and tell them if the Captain dies the destroyer will vaporize them and if they let him go they will be allowed to live.
Nuff said.
Just wait until the flotilla of small craft begin arriving this weekend each with a baby on board. this is going to be quite a spectacle.
With Obama’s appeasement policies we may have to change the 5th line of the Marines Hymn from “First to fight for right and freedom” to “Last to fight for right and freedom”.These antics should help get volunteers for our military.Right?
I don’t agree with this business of calling these somali pirates “terrorists”. Words mean things. They’re “pirates”. They board ships and sea, steal cargos, take hostages for ransom, and kill crews. That’s piracy. Pure and simple.
“Terrorism” is a political act. Piracy is pretty much just about the money. Sure, these pirates may have some connection and may feed some of their ill-gotten gains to terrorist organizations but that’s a different thing. It good, I think, to keep ideas clear and accurate. It does no good to cloud issues and confuse things by treating these different groups as if they’re all the same thing. Even if the solutions are similar.
it’s really a shame that this wasn’t ended when the captain escaped moentarily, I want to know why there was’t a soldier or sailor ready to shoot however came out after the captain
Has he commented yet on the freeze in Kentucky and the 12 deaths a while back?
Why in the hell would you send in a SEAL detatchment and risk their lives and the life of the hostage? We have a huge advantage in this situation. You internet tough guys get really old very quickly.
I think Captain Phillips should demand 10 mil from the Pirates to persuade him to stay. If he escapes or is shot, the pirates are fishfeed.
This is who the SEALs should be targeting. Put his head in a bucket and toss it aboard the lifeboat.
Then ask them if they want to negotiate some more.
L
Sure, you’re so right. Phillips is the hostage your not. What advantage do we have if they slit his throat? If they haven’t already done that because of his attempted escape.
What’s 2 million dollars in ransom eh?
Just heard the pirates are bringing in a larger ship to rescue their fellow pirates (terrorists)and the hostage.
Wonder if B. Hussein will allow this to happen without raising a finger?
Thanks for the incoherent response. I wouldn’t expect anything less. What is your point?
Why can’t we deploy a few SEALS to swim a couple of hundred yards underwater, pop up & “cap” these pirate a$$es & be done with this mess. Barrack Hussein Obnoxious is making us look like fools. Imagine how he would react to a real threat, he can’t even deal with a third world pirate thug. He is beyond “ball-less”
Hmmm, you are a giant Douche.
