Glenn Beck explains the crossroads we have reached. Do we want an America of personal responsibilty? Or do we want a Totalitarian Socialist state where we are all slaves to big government?

In this video, Beck points out that in a new poll, most Americans want government to provide them with food, health care, jobs and housing.

Yet the same poll shows 76% of Americans feel people rely too much on government? Huh? How can that be?

"Take the needle out of your arm", says Beck, "you're addicted to government!"

I disagree, it’s the other way around.
Government is like a legion of vampires addicted to the blood of it’s constituents. The only hope for the USA to survive at this point is for a nuke to hit DC while congress is in session, the president is at home in the oval office and scotus is in session

More like the people are scared to death of the Government. They have most the tools to intimidate people like the IRS/FBI NSA and have passed Laws that protect themselves against prosecution when they use them.Look what Janet Reno accomplished with the abuse/use of excessive force on Khoresh and the guy in Idaho. Some are addicted, Most are afraid!

Did you see Cavuto on O’Reilly tonight?

He looked and sounded really shaken. He kept saying, “Who knows” and “I don’t know” about whether the Obama plan ( such as it is ) will work out, although he did say that this spending strategy has never worked before. O’Reilly made the analogy to “doubling down” in black jack, and Cavuto agreed, and they followed up with a few more words about how none of this money was going to do what it is supposed to do and then Cavuto said, “It’s hopeless.”

Protected by a Union where they cannot be fired.. just re-assigned..
Even the janitor.. payed even if they don't show up..

It has become my opinion over the past decade (+/-) that many, if not most Americans are very uncomfortable with, and do not want freedom.

imho and frankly after listening him to for many hrs......
in my book he’s an apologist. he’s got a spin for everything and when I realized that that’s when i stopped liking the info he presents , i guess i’m too much more of a right winger than he is, plus i get tired of past life alcoholic diatribes;he gets old after awhile.
