If the Wests wholesale lack of understanding of fundamentalist Islam or its acquiescence to the pressures of political correctness affixed to the acceptance of Islamic culture was presented as a court case. The alleged beheading of 37-year-old Aasiya Hassan by her husband could effectively serve as Exhibit 1. Last Thursday, Aasiya Hassan was murdered and then beheaded.

Here’s a good column on the restrained coverage:
The case was as grisly as they come: A wealthy television executive walked into a police station last Thursday to report that his wife was lying dead at the television station office where they worked in suburban Buffalo, N.Y. When police arrived there, they found the decapitated body of Aasiya Hassan, a 37-year-old mother of two who recently had filed for divorce. Police say she was beheaded by her 44-year-old husband, Muzzammil Hassan, whom they have charged with second-degree murder.
In a media climate that operates by the dictum “if it bleeds, it leads,” such a gruesome murder could have been expected to make national headlines within hours. Instead, the story took nearly a week get any traction. And early reports about the beheading were oddly restrained, marked by a degree of detachment and disinterest rarely seen in the sensationalistic world of modern journalism.

Though his wife might object.
Except she can't.
He chopped off her head.
That's "Moderate" Islam for you.
Alleged beheading? hahahahaha
Maybe somebody can go and check if her head is on her shoulders? It can’t be that hard.
Great graphic. American life has now become so wholesalely ludicrous that it is nearly immaterial to post a sarcasm tag anymore.
I like it! Hopefully a prosecutor will look at that.
“No controlling legal authority” to divorce her husband under islamic law.
