Nobody likes a traitor. While Specter bleats on about bipartisanship, keep in mind that only 3 Republicans, out of the entire Congressional delegation in both Houses, voted yes for this piece of Socialist garbage. That doesn't make him a bipartisan Republican, it makes him a liberal, especially since his vote will be the deciding vote. If John McCain, one of the most unreliable Republicans in the Senate, is voting no on this, think of how bad it really must be.
Specter is up for reelection next year and Rasmussen says his maverickeyness is costing him at home in Pennsylvania.

I read somewhere on the net that RINO Arlen got a multi-millions cancer center in return for his vote. A person who trades votes for favors is a WHORE!
That’s great. He nuzzles up to the lib-tard Democrats and supports their socialistic abomination of a pork-spending bill, and now THEY are going to repay him by getting him unelected.
I can’t think of any other Sphincter I would rather see that happen to.
Of course, even BETTER would be for the Republicans in Pennsylvania to “grow some stones” and NOT EVEN NOMINATE HIM next time.
I’ll just be over here in the corner holding my breath waiting for THAT to happen... (trying not to turn blue)
Just listened to Joe Lieberman praise the stimulus bill and assure us all that he and Snowe and Collins will do all they can to OVERSEE that the money isn’t spent fraudulently.
I can see by his comments that he is one of the arm twisters getting these RINOS to sign on.
Anyone who ever praised this POS on FR should have a look at the real Joe Lie - berman.
He’s a feeble 80 year old who is barely coherent
He needs to retire
The Dem’s don’t need to target him...he’s already one of them...
At least then, we will have truth in advertising... well, somewhat, Democrats are really Marxist, but yeah, it would be better than having this bad joke continue to make the Republicans look bad. I hope you are strong and can stand by your word. Mostly, I hope spectre is defeated in the primary.
I agree. I really do think he has a screw looser than it has ever been. The guy has made zero sense through all of this. It is almost as if Rhambo has a picture of him molesting a dead horse. There is no logical explanation for his media briefings. He rambles on and on about nothing. Admits he has no idea what he is voting for and seems genuinely confused. Very strange.
KansasGirl, I have always believed that was the best course of action, but not anymore. I want these Traitors gone at all costs. The political system is corrupt. I will send money to ANYONE that runs against these 3 traitors, period.
BTW... I married a “Kansas girl” almost 38 years ago. You folks are built to last, not to mention the beauty— both inside and out.
;>)
What a coincidence -- he's the conservatives' top target in 2009.
Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey! Toomey!
Finally. Something on which conservatives and Democrats can agree on without compromising.
Yes. A true bipartisan effort. I'm willing to reach across the aisle on this issue. ;-)
You'd think the promise of a comfortable retirement with family and friends would entice these relics to step aside, but they all seem to want to be wheeled out in a body bag.
Must be a hell of a party in there.
Karma is REAL baby!
I wrote a very ‘calm’ email to Sen. Specter giving him the reasons why he won’t be getting my vote in the Fall. Never got a response. It really took a lot of willpower not to ‘blast him’.
We need to fund his conservative republican rival. Specter isn’t going to have Bush stumping for him this time.
He may be bleeding support, but he isnt bleeding half fast enough for me.
